Review: Horrible customer service and communication within their own company. My furniture arrived missing 2 valuable pieces of furniture. I have yet to hear from them on when those missing pieces will be arriving. They said to me "we are losing our patience with you" and "it's just a table and a chair...why are you stressed?"They refuse to let me know when the pieces will arrive (its been 25 business days since they picked up my furniture from California.)Im not sure they even have this furniture to be honest, and are thinking I might just 'go away.' They are not responding to phone calls or emails anymore.Desired Settlement: Im missing a chair and a coffee table from them still..both priceless in my mind (were both my grandmas stuff that she had her whole life. I'd like a $500 refund at least, for my various issues with them, and i'd like my furniture to be found and returned to me asap please.

Review: This company lost a bunch of my belongings 07/2012, over $800 in items. Its been a long time and nothing has been found. Submitted a claim to them to accept a payout check and sent them a notarized claim form and still nothing.Desired Settlement: -Large New Dresser $450-Desk $100-shoe rack $50-2 tb hard drive $200

Review: First,I just want to say I've never written a complaint about a business before. I used g&g best transportation hoping for a smooth move. My family and I moved to Texas after my husband got laid off in November 2012. We moved at the end of June 2013. The day they showed up I didn't realize it was going to be an all day affair. They dropped their one mover off at 11am like scheduled. The truck and 2 more movers drove away to unload someone else's stuff. No problem. The mover (junior) was very good and worked hard until the other's showed back up at 5pm. They mentioned that they hadn't eaten and would go get some food. I get it. At6pm of June 19,2013 they all (3 movers) began moving our things into the truck. It was 2am when they finished putting our things in the moving truck. In that process they dropped my husband's motorcycle on its side and had very little light to work with so our boxes weren't always handled with care. At the end when looking over the paperwork and giving them a check I noticed that our Xbox game system box was not labeled as such. I mentioned it to junior and he said not to worry that it would make it to Texas. G&g best transportation stored our belongings in their storage facility located in los Angeles and be delivered in July when our place was ready. Less than one month from when we had it picked up. I called approximately 1 week later to talk with them about what had gone on. They were not receptive and got very defensive. They insisted that nothing was damaged. When our stuff was delivered(by a different company) there were things missing and damaged. I requested claims info from them.. sent my claim off and haven't heard a thing. We have emailed and called with no response. We paid a total of $5758.00. Much higher than the original quote. We are still trying to get what we lost out of it. I do Have the item details and pictures.I tried calling today (5/26/14) and the phone numbers aren't working. I don't know what else to doDesired Settlement: I just want my claim to be settled. I would like to know where they are in the process. Something saying "we are working on it." Maybe a phone call. I do feel with all that's gone on th s that they should pay the full cost of replacement for the items that have been damaged or come up missing. This has been quite an ordeal. we spent a lot of money with the company to be treated this way. Not fair.I'm ready to move on and close this chapter.

Review: G&G best moving services moved our belongings from napa ca, to syracuse ny. They mishandled our items, stacking fragile items below heavy items, which caused them to break. I personally witnessed our driver drop a box marked fragile down a flight of stairs. They insisted our items were insured upon original contract. After the truck was packed, they forced us to sign a contract stating they would only give us ten cents per pound that an item is. Upon receiving in our items, many were broken because of negligence. Boxes were smashed, battered and broken. I also witnessed our driver throwing others belongings from the truck into the street while unloading our items. After filing all the proper paperwork to receive our money from the broken items in OCTOBER, g&g has yet to reimburse us. They won't return phone calls or voicemails despite multiple complaints. I've been lied to about it for months.Desired Settlement: I'm asking that the bob help us reclaim our due money for the original cost of the goods. Our items were handled with negligence, as well as our customer service.

Review: I hired this company to move my items to my new address the service that I received was horrible. This company took my items and made a inventory list and then claimed that the items on the inventory list is not correct. after delivering my items. I was told that I am driving them crazy because I called to fix the issue. I explained to Eve the supervisor that my two computers were in those boxes that are missing and I work from home. So my career could be over because all my contact were in that computer.My calls to the company are now forwarded to voice-mail. And I cant seem to get this issue resolved. I have the inventory list that they provided me with and my missing items are accounted for. Something has to be done.Desired Settlement: I would like my money to be refunded back to me.

Review: It has been almost two years since we used G & G, and we just now have gotten over the horror enough finally write a review. We used G & G to move from San Diego, CA to Fort Collins, CO in July of 2012. Although the movers that came to pack were courteous and packed our belongings well, we were nickel and dimed for each box and roll of tape used beyond the estimate. The estimate was also seriously under-priced. By the time all the extra supplies and space were added up, the price almost doubled.Next was the delivery, which was over one week late. Although I did sign a contract saying that the delivery could be up to several weeks late without penalty, we were not told this until after they picked up our stuff. When our belongings were finally delivered, there was a large box missing, which just happened to have two sets of expensive golf clubs in it. Also, after being told by the company that our delivery men would assemble all furniture upon delivery, when we asked they said they weren't responsible for assembly. After calling the office they finally started assembling our furniture haphazardly, and when I saw them stripping screws and scratching our then 10-month old sons crib, we told them we could handle the rest.After a few calls to the office to start the claim process, we finally just used our renter's insurance so we didn't have to deal with them any more.Desired Settlement: $1500. $600 for lost golf clubs, $500 for misleading pricing and logistical details, and $400 for stress and anxiety caused by not having our belongings after moving to a new state with a small child.
