Review: I took my 1996 Ford F150 to have the AC repaired. After purchasing freon I was told the truck needed a compressor. As I waited a compressor was delivered and installed. This was on Friday, June 14 @ 3:02pm. The AC worked fine on that Friday and Saturday. On Sunday I was going out of town and had no air condition. I called on Fri, June 21 and was told to come on Monday. I went back twice, the first time I was told he was busy and to bring the truck back, that was on Monday, June 24th. I went back on Wednesday, June 26, and was approached with "you can't just drive up here you have to call me first. After talking about the problem I was told to come back. Rather than return I took the truck to another repair shop and was told the compressor had burned out and shown a yellow wire that was attached and crossed over the motor to the compressor. I paid for the compressor kit $226.25 and paid the mechanic $235.00. After my initial repairs, the mechanic, to me, did not compliment his repairs. The second repair shop has quoted me $750 to repair the repairs, even tho he called the auto parts store and was told they would replace the compressor.

The consumer came and he looked at the car and saw it needed a new compressor, comulator, and expansion valve. He changed these items. The a./c line was corroded and the hoses may have needed to be changed but the only to tell was after you began performing the work. The items replaced were warranted for year. I have purchased the items from 1-800-radiator for a while now. I would have looked at the vehicle for free to see what I needed to change or correct. She did not give me a chance. I have been in business for a long time now and have never had a complaint. I would be more than happy to look at her car for free to see what needs to be fixed .
