I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. Some of their explanation is incorrect but they have replaced the door and I am satisfied. If it had not been for your intervention I doubt that they would have responded so quickly and I would probably still be waiting for the door.

In reference to the complaint, the customer purchased a full view storm door with interchangeable full screen in June of 2011. The door was not ordered with a screen stabilizer bar originally. We ordered and installed a screen stabilizer bar during the summer of 2012 at no additional charge. The...
customer called during the summer of 2014 and informed us the bar was broken. These bars are not meant to be used as a push bar to open the screen door. The bars are a screen stabilizer for a full screen to help prevent the screen mesh from being pushed out. I did pick up the screen about 3 weeks ago. I spoke with my installer about scheduling a time to return it to the customer once we installed another new bar. He informed me he did not. I apologize for not getting this back to her in a timely manner. We have been more than reasonable in repairing this door at no charge since the repairs that have been made are not due to the manufacturing or installation process. Please note these screens are made of fiberglass mesh. Their sole purpose is to keep insects out and let air in. I installed the screen for the customer on July 6, 2015 at approximately 6:00 pm.
