mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri;mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-ansi-lang...⇄ /> EN-US;mso-fareast-language:EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">omplaint #[redacted]) for the work KBI Construction is performing on [redacted] please see the following:On ?April ?18, ?2015, [redacted] signed an agreement with KBI Construction to perform the work required to restore his condominium to its pre-loss condition prior to the damage done to the unit from a water leak in the unit's plumbing system. KBI agreed to perform this work as per Farmers Fire Insurance Exchange Claim Estimate for the amount of the total Replacement Cost Value as indicated on the insurance company's claim estimate. KBI Construction was prepared to start the work upon receipt of the claim estimate;  however, [redacted] requested that KBI not start the work for two weeks as he would not be available for that time. We started the work as per our agreement. There were a few delays during the course of the work due to the unavailability locally of some of interior finishing items that [redacted] had chosen for his unit. There were also some delays due to a shortage of available labor to perform some of the work at the times we had it scheduled. As a general contractor we use subcontractors to perform the work and many of these subcontractors were behind on their schedules due to the amount of work created by the flooding that occurred in Houston during the period in question.To compensate [redacted] for these delays, KBI Construction reduced the total contracted amount by $3,000.00. At this point, KBI is at the final stage if the work, including a final construction clean which will take care of all or the items mentioned in [redacted] complaint to the Revdex.com. At this point, [redacted] is please with the work underway. He indicated to Kenneth B[redacted] that is soon as the work was completed, he would sign a completion certificate which states that he is satisfied with the work. He also told Mr. B[redacted] that, upon completion, he would inform the Revdex.com and withdraw his complaint.I hope you find the response to be satisfactory. Please notify me that you have received this response.
