I am writing In reference to the complaint filed by [redacted] . I would like to first apologize for the job taking so long, It took four months to complete, not five, however [redacted] was aware before the contract was signed that I had a family vacation in June for two weeks. There were also... problems with getting materials and weather delays. I never told her the job would be completed in seven days. The house was not wrapped with Tyvek or insulation because she did not want to pay the extra cost. She kept texting me trying to cut corners and get the cost reduced. The windows were sealed with 100% silicone on the inside as well as new window seals and window trim at my expense. She is stating that most of the siding is not nailed in at 8mm thickness to allow for expanding. This statement Is not true, The siding was nailed correctly, Also she is stating that several open areas have been poorly cut exposing the wood siding underneath and not sealed. This statement is also not true. There have not been numerous attempts to contact me. There was only one time she text me and it was about repairing a piece of siding. I am willing to repair the piece of siding under the left dormer (bottom right corner). I apologize It was not repaired, Everything was completed correctly and up to themanufacture standards. If she would like for me to come out and look at alleged problems, I would be more than happyto do so.

I was verbally told that the job would take no longer than seven days to complete. I paid 11,500.00 in cash in good faith for a job that was not up to my satisfaction as the customer and no attempts over the course of a year to satisfy the customer.  My mistake was paying the second half of the money owed prior to the job was complete. I was told he needed the money to pay his helpers.  I inquired about the house being wrapped and insulated and was informed that the wood siding underneath would suffice.  I have had several professional siding installers/ estimates over the course of this past year.  All informed that the siding was not installed up to the manufactures specifications because the house was not wrapped in tyvek.  I was mislead thinking that soffits and facia were a standard part of siding installation however was later informed that would be an additional 2,000.00. There are multiple areas that the siding does not completely cover the wood siding and is not sealed.  It appears to me that the siding was cut incorrectly. I made at least 10 attempts to contact the company.  Specific dates are as follows Dec. 2 2014, Dec. 8 2014, Jan. 7 2015, April 6 2015, May 5 2015, May 26 2015, July 14 2015, Aug. 27 2015, Aug 29 2015. I called and left a message on Aug. 24, 2015.  Intially there were a few responses such as "as soon as it warms up" and "soon". There was no more responses beyond April 2015. On Jan 7 2015 he stated he would replace the bottom window pane of the right dormer.  I have records of contacts attempts as well as pictures of areas needing repair. I want all repairs completed and window pane replaced at no additional cost to me and to my satisfaction or a 100% refund.
