Review: Emailed G[redacted] Bass the owner and ask him for an itemization of the bill. He told the bill is correct the way it is and to pay it or he will take me to court.

We told him the job should have only taken oner day and his guys took two. They were gone from the site more than they were there and they didn't have any of the proper tools or parts to do the job.

He told us he would use a practically new tank he had in the lot and that it should cost 400.00 if he used a new one it would be 450.00 somehow the material came out to $1248.00. That is a lot for an oil tank that is 450.00 some gauges and pipe fittings.

HE told me he would charge me $2500.00 but would not give me an itemized bill that I should just pay the bill or he would take us to court.

I have all of the email conversation if you would like to see it.Desired Settlement: We would like an itemization of the charges.

Review: We purchased our home at [redacted] approximately 15 years ago and have with confidence in the work being performed utilized your services for our air conditioning servicing since purchasing our home. We have never been as dissatisfied with the service as we were during our last experience with you.First, we contacted you Monday, May 20th and conveyed to your answering service that it wasnt an emergency with the heat index being much lower and we couldnt afford the additional cost of the emergency service call we asked that you return our call so that we could set up a convenient time for all of us for our unit to be serviced. You called back on Wednesday evening and we agreed to Tuesday, May 28th as it was holiday weekend and we would be away from home. We rearranged our schedules so we could be available at our home Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm and there was no call / no show. Wednesday, May 29th, I contacted your office again and shared with you that the no call/no show was unacceptable as the heat wave started and my mother visiting from out of state with a heart condition, and breathing issues the heat could adversely affect her health and others in my home. A return call from [redacted] was received and a visit was placed to my home on Wednesday, May 29th approximately 4:00 pm. After [redacted] performed the service, he determined that the unit needed Freon and added at the cost of $245 for the Freon and the $70 service call for a total of $385. The unit was running and we noticed a slight drop in house temp but even after running for two days straight it never reached the preset temp of 70 degrees so once again on Friday, May 31st we contacted [redacted].On Friday evening, May 31st, [redacted] returned to our home and with Leroys assistance, found a loose wire, tightened, and gave us another $140 bill. [redacted] did suggest a blockage of items blocking vents throughout house, but all vents were cleared and new filter in unit. On Saturday, June 1, again the unit running but barely giving us any air, we went out to inspect the unit, only to find that the piping going from the unit into the home was frozen. Once again, we contacted [redacted], and waiting for few hours as the house grew hotter. It was then we decided to call another company to come out and help us determine what was going on with the unit. The companys findings were of amazement to us and below are a couple things they shared with us:1.The unit had so many leaks that the unit was like a large colander2.The unit itself is beyond the types of repairs that we had already given you $500+.We contacted your company with assurance that you would complete the service call to the best of your ability. We understand that you have a great deal of customers at that time and you may have been tired but yet, we deserved the quality of repair that we have known over the years and have counted on. We work very hard, and the money we gave you was every bit of our savings and we are no better off than we were when we started. We now have no money, no air, and the only solution is to completely replace the unit. In todays economy and raising a family, the last thing you need is to be paying money for a Band-Aid on a problem and you need reliable service with people not so much concerned about the quick fix as they are with taking the extra time to determine the big picture and address it accordingly. We dont believe you took that time. The company that we called out took off the shell of the AC and it was visible to an untrained eye (ours) that the unit was leaking. Freon doesnt just normally disappear and the amount of Freon that you put in should have been an indicator that the unit needed additional attention. It is my understanding that in speaking with several other AC specialists that there are sensors and other tools to assist with determining the leak but I assure you that this was apparent. The company will be drafting a statement to support everything they shared with us.With the above, we have cancelled payment on the most recent check for $140 and as the first check was already cashed by our bank, we are requesting that you return the $245 for the Freon that is leaking all over the place. This was obviously not the issue but the leaks and had they been addressed the Freon may have come later. We will pay you the $70 service call as merely a courtesy for taking time to come to our home though I assure you we were beyond unsatisfied with the service and will no longer be using your company for our service needs.Desired Settlement: We are asking for the payment of the $245 for the freon that obviously woudnt have been needed as the issue was far beyond that, to be returned to us within 14 days, no later than June 20th or we will file a claim with district court and present supporting documentation that the service we received was in no way adequate for the issue presented.
