Good Morning, In response to this complaint I want to start out by saying we are our own general contracting company not an employee of LowesWe make it a point to have satisfied customers as well as making them feel they are well cared for and all concerns are being taken care ofThis situation with customer, [redacted] ***, is quite unfortunateBecause this customer went through Lowes to purchase his deck, that made Lowes the first contactWe do not have control over conversations or things that happen with Lowes and the customersUpon arrival of the first day the job was scheduled to begin, we noticed that the lumber delivered by Lowes was incorrect and therefore needed to be returnedThis happened two times where the incorrect lumber was delivered and the customer did not accept itBeing that the customers home is hours away from our home office in Richland, WA, it was hard on our part to have to drive out several times to not be able to do any work because of incorrect materials being deliveredThe customer stated to us his frustration on the time it was taking for the job to be completed, but there was nothing we could do at that point until the correct materials came in and were deliveredOur relationship with the customer took a turn for the worse when he at one point spit on one of our employeesAt the time of the spitting incident, we immediately contacted Lowes and notified them of the situation Our owner as well as the ASM of Lowes Wenatchee Jeremy, met up where it was communicated that this job had been transferred to another installerOnce the job is transferred to another installer, per Lowes contract, Lowes is responsible for all communication with the customer as well as completion of jobWe no longer had control to be able to speak with customer or discuss completion of jobAgain, this situation is unfortunate and we wish there was more contractually that we could do Thank you, Rachael G***

Complaint: [redacted]On 13 Jan 2016 I hired Lowe's Wenatchee to remove existing deck and replace it with a new deck per code.  The contract was with Lowe's and they sub'd the contract work out to G & H Construction.  I was told to contact the Lowe's team, who would contact G & H to answer all my questions or concerns and they would coordinate my project and keep me informed every step of the way, but after the job started, Lowe's was rarely available to pass on concerns with the work.  When G & H Construction accepted the sub contract, the time or distance to and from the job site should not be taken into account.If G & H makes a point to have satisfied customers as well as making them feel well cared for, why would the county inspector take pictures and state he would red flag the framing work that was done so far by G & H workers.  In all my dealings with G & H employees or others, I have never spit on people and I take great offense to the fact I would do so.   Lowe's informed us G & H told them they would no longer do decks.  We then asked the Lowe's Install team if they had another contractor to finish the deck, they told us no.  I am totally unaware of any other installer being hired to complete the deck. I have hired no one.  As for the lumber deliveries, it was Lowe's and G & H Construction responsiblity. Started this project in Jan 2016 and here it is June and still no deck, existing or otherwise.

Being that the customers home is 3.5 hours away from our home office in Richland, WA, it was hard on our part to have to drive out several times to not be able to do any work because of incorrect materials being delivered. The customer stated to us his frustration on the time it was taking for the job to be completed, but there was nothing we could do at that point until the correct materials came in and were delivered. Our relationship with the customer took a turn for the worse when he at one point spit on one of our employees.
