I had a problem with my air conditioner they were having trouble resolving, they never called me back, ever, not to tell me what was going on, or anytI called the owner of the company [redacted] because he had been recommended to me by my father. He agreed to send someone out to check my a/c as it was creating so much moisture my walls were molding. The first day [redacted] came and cleaned my unit and I paid him and he left. I called back to the owner and explained that the problem still existed and couldn't someone do something. So the next time [redacted] and [redacted] came and fixed the air flow to the unit but were not sure exactly what the moisture problem was. [redacted] said he would be out the next day and call me when he left to let me know what was going on. I wasn't going to be there but my boyfriend would be to let him in. I should state that I am the owner of this house and have made it very clear from the beginning with these repair men that I needed to be informed what was going on since I wouldn't be there. So [redacted] comes back the next day and checks the unit, I was not home and he never called me. So two weeks later I call the owner again and explain I never heard from [redacted] and that I still had an issue. He told me he would send [redacted] by. [redacted] called me and scheduled a time to come by when I was there. He looked at everything and suggested that we needed to replace the peplum (sp?) and that he would get some estimates and call me back. Three weeks go by and I never get a call back from [redacted] so I call the owner again, this time pretty frustrated and ask if I need to just find someone else to fix this. He assures me that all is well and he'll have [redacted] call me. [redacted] calls me and apologizes for not calling me back and now suggests that instead of replacing the thing at the top of the unit that they want to run a camera to check things out. I tell him that he can come one day my boyfriend will be there but to please call me before he leaves and let me know what exactly is going on. He agrees. He and [redacted] come back to the house and run the camera, they assure my boyfriend they will call me to let me know what is going on as he makes it very clear they need to. A week and a half pass and I still haven't heard from either of them so I call the boss once again. At this point he actually blames me for having a communication problem with my boyfriend, because his guys explained everything to him supposedly, to which I explain it doesn't matter what was explained to him as he doesn't own the house and he even told them to call me after I myself asked them to call me and it was agreed to. I finally get a call from [redacted] saying he is sorry and that it was all his fault for not calling and that he really feels that some duct work needs replacing, we discuss this and he tells me that he will get some prices and call me in the morning to let me know what we will be doing next. It has now been almost two months and I still haven't heard from [redacted] about those prices on duct work. Not only did my problem never get solved, but all the moisture caused trouble with my furnace and I had to pay someone to fix that. So now my air conditioning problem isn't solved, I have moldy walls that will only get worse every summer and I had to pay someone to fix something they should have never let happen. I decided not to call them back because of the rude treatment from the boss ([redacted]) also I realize these people will never call me back when it matters, I honestly don't know how they stay in business, but they have certainly lost all of mine and my family's business. Desired SettlementHonestly a written apology would be great, but I don't see that. I would like my $100 dollars back and the $48.75 I spent fixing the heater because there was water in discs that kept it from starting.
