paid for an alignment they didnt tighten my driver side control arm down and my tire fell over ona trip and broke all my front end parts My name [redacted] I live at [redacted] lot # 7 I took my 1997 GMC serria 2x4 pick up truck to get an alignment at (G & H tire and auto 242 us hwy 70 west havelock nc 28532) the tech came out and asked me if I was sure I wanted to get it done cause my tires wouldnt show any abnormal wear for 10,000 plus miles that they would have to cut out and install the keys to do the alignment I told them I use my truck for work and can put 10,000 miles on my truck in a month so I will pay to have it done. I got my truck back and the front end which had all good parts or they would not even have attempted alignment was popping and making alot of noise they told me to drive it a little bit and bring it back in couple hundred miles. So I went to wilmington for work made it half way there and my driverside front tire literally fell over I had to get my truck towed home and wait till monday when they opened they did send a tow truck to pick it up from my house they took my truck straightened the front wheels out and said they were not fixing all the front end parts that the tech didnt tighten down my control arm and there sorry, that they fixed alignment but are not fixing anything else it broke my inner and outer tie rod ends and lower balljoints and my sway bar end links I have not been able to use my truck for over a month and have lost how much work due to this incident I cant use my brakes over 40 mph or my front end shakes uncontrollably its terrifying and when I went to pick up my truck 2nd time it wouldnt start never once has it had an issue then it took them 45 minutes to bring out some starting fluid got it started and said there you go. I then said to the tech this is unacceptable he said I didnt work on ur truck so I dont know what to tell you I had to pull my intake plenium and replace fuel pressure regulator im not asking for anything on that just wanted people to know the type of business they are. I have called over and over again the owner refuses to speak with me on the phone or in person they told me get a laywer I cant afford to do that they have ruined my business cause I no longer have a truck to use and wont do anything about it please help me if you can. Original camber plates had to be removed to perform alignment. The complainant called and stated he was unable to drive the vehicle because the control arms had shifted. G&H Tire and Auto towed the complainant's vehicle at no charge on 4-12-2016 from the complainant's residence in Newport. G&H readjusted the control arms and rechecked the alignment, again at no charge. The complainant drove the vehicle home and to the best of our knowledge is still driving the vehicle.Consumer Response absolutely not I called over 6 times telling them I cant drive my truck can't use my brakes not only did I tell the so called manager numerous times I told the receptionist n talked to a couple workers they know there tech messed my truck up and still are not taking credit for it had all good parts in front end now there isnt a single one. I Have put 200 miles on my truck since they destroyed it 2 months ago and to sit here and say im driving it when they know without a shadow of doubt that I cant drive my truck its well over $500 just for the parts there shade tree alignment tech destroyed and you can believe its twice that to get it all installed. I quickly realized what type of business this is and once again a reply from manager not owner I strongly recommend no one doing business with them n if conflict is not resolved and my truck restored to its original condition I am going to get a right to petition, petition license and park my truck on the public land by there shop stating exactly how they treat there customers and I will renew it every month they dont want to make this right thats fine I knew before I even posted on Revdex.com that they wouldn't care. Until they own up to there mistakes I will continue to let everyone know that they will damage your vehicle
