***, I am truly disappointed and depressed after waiting several weeks over the project completion date, but not surprised at this point that you've added yet another excuse to justify taking almost all my money, dragging out my project and not providing the material for the exterior phase of my projectNow you want to null and void our present contract to further justify keeping our money by saying what?!!...you had provision in place of how you would handle such problems...no such change of work order was ever received from you so how can you be using this as an excuse? Unbelievable! All I am asking you to do if you are a honest and decent man ...is to give me back a portion of my money so that I can have someone else complete the task your sign off on our existing contractIt's now appears that your intention from the get go was not honorable, just another excuse to keep my moneyIf you are reasonable you can appraise what it will cost to complete the exterior including the roof and reimburse me accordingly it would be greatly appreciatedOtherwise if I have to take legal action I will also be including in the cost: the corrective changes needed in the work you've already performed thus far and promised to fix ...the bulk head sitting on wood frame, the slant in the wall needed to support the basement door, the metal fence that was damaged by your equipment, the waste you left in my yard among other thingsThe electrician will be showing up today along with the city inspectorI hope you or Lee can show up and give an estimate or reasonable cost to complete the project and reimburse me accordingly [redacted] Hope this c

Review: I am sending this detailed message to explain our disapproval of the poor quality work G, Kosienski Construction has done. The replacement shingles at the front door look awful. The "shingles" used are used for shimming after snapping them into pieces and they do not match at all. I know, with effort, it's possible to procure the appropriate and matching shingles. The shingles that G, Kosienski Construction installed shows gaps, some are not stapled down properly, and do not come close to matching the original shingles. For the prices I am paying (or for any amount) THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.The replacement wall portion, next to the front door, is an absolute disaster. The sheet rock was not fitted properly and they continued to fill the uneven wall area with spackle in a poor attempt to try to straighten it out. I feel I have paid you $500 twice for this and AGAIN at G, Kosienski Constructions project fee it should have been done right the first time AND NOT LOOK LIKE A DIY JOB! The garage door is still not installed correctly after working multiple times on it and paying G, Kosienski Construction initially $650.00 to install, and then paying another $250.00 for his workers to correct their original installation debacle. To date, there is still light and the cold air coming in through the door. Once AGAIN, beyond disappointing and UNACCEPTABLE.None of the project garbage was removed (2 wooden doors, storm door, wood moldings and other bebris) and it's still sitting outside our home. In closing, we feel G, Kosienski Construction "conned" us into paying premium prices, thinking we were getting the highest quality of work, skill and attention to detail. Instead, we received subpar work not worth the over $4,000.00 paid to G, Kosienski Construction. We do not have faith that G, Kosienski Construction has the qualifications or skill required to correct this work since it was not done initially or after multiple additional attempts. There has been no response to our written requests.Desired Settlement: The money I am now laying out to have a new contractor correct and complete the unfinished issues that were paid to G, Kosienski Construction to complete. We are requesting a minimum of $1,925 (to correct both door installs, the wall and shingles)of the $4,375 in total paid to G, Kosienski Construction. We do not have any faith in G, Kosienski Construction's work, so we are working with an alterante contractor.

Review: Signed with a contractor with over 20 years of experience to complete a kitchen addition. Project should take 3-5 weeks. He was given an initial one-third to begin the project. Payments were to be made on progress of project which he explained in my case would be inspection phases. At the end of the first week and every week thereafter he was asking for funds to buy materials even when "no progress" was being made. That is no one shows up or very little gets done. By the fourth week he had three -fourth of my funds. I had no electrical work done, no roof, windows or doors counter tops etc. My husband took on the electrical payment since this phase required inspection. l explained to the contractor that I am not releasing anymore funds until interior work phase begin. I had threats of walking off the job because he has a family to feed, to not showing up and ignoring phone calls, feeling sick and broken down vehicle all of which have added to the delay the progress of the job. I'm disgusted.Desired Settlement: I am asking them to complete the job or reimburse me the money it will take for me to complete the job that is now passed the expected completion date. I have a person with a disability living in my home and this is adding to the behavioral concerns because rthe daily routine is being affecte d by the delay.
