G & L Electric Reviews (2)

I spoke to this customer on the same day he made the complaint. He was upset but I got him to calm down and listen to what I had to say. I understand that he had a bad experience with an acrylic tub liner previously and that once he got our cleaning instructions he panicked when he found
out they are to be cleaned similarly. He believed that he just bought the same product that failed on him previously - and assumed they are the same because they are both acrylic. I reminded him of the sales presentation he was given and how Premium Grade Virgin Acrylic is different from a cheap, regrind acrylic tub liner and why his previous product failed. I also reminded him that our computer presentation is very clear about what you are buying and uses the word acrylic about times so the salesperson did not lie to him and he knew exactly what he was buying. There is also a section in the presentation where it discusses how to clean the product and what chemicals can be used - so it was clear at the time of the sale what he was buying. I believe he was ok with everything until our crew went over the cleaning instructions and he found out he cannot use abrasive pads or harsh cleaners to clean it. I reassured him that he will not need to use those types of cleaners and if he follows the instructions from manufacturer he is going to love the product. I also told him about my original Bathwraps acrylic shower that still looks brand new after years so I think that helped to calm his nerves. I explained that it would be impossible to sell these showers for the price we do and not have many unhappy clients complaining on the internet as we have done thousands - and nobody is complaining. He said he would keep an open mind and not judge the product negatively before having a chance to use it. I believe this complaint should have never been made. He could always make a complaint in the future if he actually had problems with the job, but he made a complaint BEFORE any problems - it is brand new! He owes us the benefit of the doubt before he assumes the worst. I understand he had a bad experience previously but Atlas Home Improvement sells a top of the line product that people absolutely love and we do not deserve a complaint that is based on another company/product he used more than years ago. I am requesting this complaint be removed since the client overreacted and his report is not accurate. I believe if given the opportunity he would remove his complaint and give us the benefit of the doubt. *** ***Atlas Home Improvement, Owner###-###-#### Cell

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:]I did speak to [redacted] on the phone and this consisted of a lecture of what a great product he has.  I explained I did not want his product & I was misled by the salesman.  I thought a company as large at Atlas would sell more than one product line, acrylic, but they don't.  I was told I could clean this with anything, I can't.  Also, the warranty is void if the product is exposed to cigarettes or cigarette smoke & I am a smoker as the salesman could plainly see while watching me smoke in my home.  [redacted] kept telling me that his product is great & I will thank him years from now but no one likes being lied to & sold something they don't want.  Now I have a tub I don't want that I have to clean in a special way that will probably turn yellow or green from the cigarette smoke & its warranty is void.  Perfect, thanks [redacted] & your unethical salesman.
Regards,
[redacted]
