G. L. Schwenke

Review: GL Scwenke performed contractor work at my house, installing a new bathroom adn a basement ceiling. He was paid apporximately 14,000 for the installation and several months afterwards, the newly installed shower stall began leaking due to improper installation. As he purchased the shower stall and installed it, I called / emailed / certified letter repeatedly to get him to come take a look at his failure and setup a repair. He has refused to even talk to me and has not replied. He has refused a certified letter. He has installed the shower without the proer foundation and it has caused the shower fiberglas to break and leak all over my basement. I am getting NO response and there is no way that he has not been aware of my emails, phone calls and letters.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my shower fixed/replaced and installed correctly. He carries liability insurance so he should be able to at least engage another contractor to do the work. I feel that he did the work under an improper contract and is not owning up to doing the work.I need help. The only other alternative is to see him for this repair.

The complaint is against G[redacted] Schwenke, the sole employee and proprietor of his own carpentry business, G. L. Schwenke, INc.

He did the installation and was paid to do so. He is also the one that is not responding to my emails, letters, and phone calls regarding the inferior work that he did on my bathroom.
