The Customer called our company for an inspection because they were getting bitten when they were sleeping.? We performed a thorough inspection in the bedroom on all beds and couches for bed bugs and/or bed mites.? (Our Inspection fee of $plus tax is for bed and couch - we inspected couches and beds as a courtesy)? We did not find bed bugs.? We continued our inspection to other parts of the apartment including windows (windows are also an additional charged but we also inspected them as a courtesy).? We did find numerous types of insects including gnats and spring tail antsWe then quoted the customer a price for the service to resolve the issues with the insects.? The customer declined the service.We do not refund inspection fees.? We spend our time and gas to do thorough inspections for our customers.? We spent and hour and a half at this customer's apartment to make sure to help them resolve their issues and we stand by that.We are a highly rated Pest Control company and our ratings through Home Advisor and Angie's List are just a part of those excellent ratings? ? ?

[Your Answer Here]This is advertising at its bestThere is no where in our conversation or any advertise that the business is reveal that the $is for 'bed and couch'I have screenshots of every page of the website and emails/statements of all our correspondentsThere was never such thing. The business claimed that we called for 'bites while sleeping' and this is straight lieWe called for insect bites in the living room and that is the first place we led them toThey have this written down in the work statement themselves which could be used a evidence in court. The business' inspection and diagnosis is completely wrong and nothing we are suffering is related to 'gnats and ants'We have scientific proof from Cornell University, which is something we had to do because they fail to provide the level of service they suppose toIf this is allowed, any one could run this service, charging $125, just drive there with gas and time, without look at any bug and called whatever they see 'gnats or ants' and suggest 'general pest control' for $400. Any honest business, like the other two pest control companies we later hired, would tell to customer with honesty - 'I'm not sure what this insect is and I would not be able to help you' instead of making up something and try to get away with it. This is unacceptableAgain, I request full refund and an apology for making statements on what I said.

1. Inspections / fees are NOT refundable - The service and diagnosis is completely wrong and provides no value, therefore the fees should be refunded2. We did a thorough inspection in all rooms and all windows for biting insects as customer requested- The inspection leads to diagnosis of 'gnats and ants' which is completely irrelevant to what is biting us - which later was identified as wasps. 3. We gave the customer a quote / proposal to resolve the issues with the biting insects. - The extremely expensive quote and proposal was also targeting those wrong insects which is stated in the written statement from business. 4. The customer refused / declined the service
- We felt the proposal was wrong at the time and we turned out to be rightOf course we turned down the service proposalOtherwise we would lose even more to this fraudulent service.Our claim is that their service is nowhere to the knowledge or standard of a prudent customer should expect as it leads to completely wrong directionsThe inspector had no clue at all what he is dealing with but instead just spit out some common insects and suggested general treatments for ants and hope it would go away and pocket the inspection and additional service feesThis is no way to practice a business.
