G Miller Fence Inc.

Review: G[redacted] Miller did not install fence as proposed. I had two gates that were supposed to be pool code and neither was. He drilled holes in incorrect locations and tried miserably to fill it in, and claimed that when he was done it would be unnoticeable. He did not put pole stiffners in the gates which caused the 1st gate to sag significantly. When another company told me it was due to lack of stiffners, G[redacted] said that it was optional. Basically he cut every corner to save money for himself. On top of it, the second gate should have been installed in 1-2 days max. I have now been waiting over a month and he has told me every day he will be here tomorrow, and every day he has a new excuse. The new fence company told me that he put a latch for a wood fence on my vinyl fence and that he also used hinges that are not even made for fencing. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with my entire life and I work for a contracting company for a living, so I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. The cost to repair the work that he did (and do it right) is $1520.00 when the contract price with him was $5100.00. He was paid in full fall 2013 because we needed to wait until spring 2014 for the 2nd gate to be installed. I have finally had enough and am hiring someone to fix it so I can finally get my inspection.Desired Settlement: G[redacted] Miller should be responsible for the cost to repair and finish what he did incorrectly. Cost given by another fence company is $1,520.00. If I do not get reimbursed for this I will be taking him to small claims court.
