My rating is zero Stars: I have been trying to get resolution from the Sovereign Capital Management Group (SCMG) regarding cash distributions based on my shares in the G REIT Liquidating Trust (GRLT) for nearly 3 years with little success. As a shareholder in the underlying G REIT investment I was getting distributions from the GRLT up through February, 2013. Since then I've got (sent to me or posted on-line), updates from SCMG on the status of the asset liquidation and expected distributions. In 2015 I was informed that shares in the G REIT Liquidating Trust would be transferred to Computershares for ongoing tracking of though this set-up took longer than expected, and was not executed until August 2016.

In October 2017 I was informed by SCMG that I should have already received a cash distribution to my IRA account at NFS. As I had seen no changes to the cash and shares in my account, I contacted Sovereign Capital by e-mail and phone and was told by their Director of Investor Relations that a check had been sent to NFS but had been returned due to "an incorrect IRA account number listed on the check". It seems they used my Computershares account number rather than my NFS account number. I gave the SCMG correct NFS account number and was told that the "check is being reissued with the correct IRA account number listed  and sent back out to National Financial Services on your behalf." As far as I can see I still have not got this first distribution.

After being informed in April 2018 that I should have received a second distribution I followed up with Sovereign Capital by e-mail and phone but have got no responses from them. A June 2018 post from Sovereign Capital said that I could have any previously missed cash distribution fixed by sending a letter to an address they provided. I did send a request-for-reissue letter in November 2018. To date I have not received either my first or second distribution from them. I called SCMG on March 8 and have not received a call-back. I called Computershares today, and they would not tell me any detail about what's in the account over the phone because I "am not the account custodian".

Even allowing for the difficulties SCMG may be having in liquidating the underlying assets, their lack of responses is just intolerable.

Review: My wife has had two accounts with G Reit for many years. However according to our statements we are missing several checks that were supposed to be sent to our address. The date and amount of the missing checks are 04/09/10 for $182.17, 07-06-12 for 910.86, and 02/01/13 for $182.17. Additional missing check dates and amounts are the following: 06/03/10 for $110.06, 07/06/12 for $550.36, and 02/01/13 for $110.07. I am missing an amount of $1935.60.I have talked to many employees there and have gotten the run-around. I called [redacted] and asked for the check number for the missing checks. I faxed the dates and amounts the 3rd of April 2014. I called and left word for her to call and confirm receipt of the fax. She never returned the call. On April 8th 2014 I did get her to answer. She said her boss told her not to answer any questions. This tells me someone in your company has made a mistake.Desired Settlement: I want an explanation for this shortfall. I want to know why G Reit Liquidating Trust has been so reluctant to return my calls. I want to be paid the money owed to me. A sum of $1935.
