The decision as to how to handle this situation is controlled completely by the manufacturer, *** It is not something we, as a dealer, can override I recommend continuing contact with *** of America directly

We do apologize that the repair took longer than estimated.  Unfortunately we were dealing with a flood of hail-damaged cars due to a catastrophic hail storm in our area and it was far more business than we or any other body shop in the area were structured to handle.  We were...

simply overwhelmed.  We are currently scheduling repairs for April and May because there are still thousands of cars in need of repair.  The best we were able to do at the time was try to guess when we might be able to complete the repairs.  We have since hired more staff and modified our processes to attempt to give more accurate estimates as to when cars will be completed.

Customer was issued a refund as requested.

Review: I have taken my car to this dealership's body shop to have repairs done on it. When I first took it in, they told me it would be 4 weeks for the repairs to be completed. I called them after 4 weeks and they told me it was not finished yet, but it would be completed in the early part of the following week. I waited until Wednesday of the following week to call about it. When I did, I was told that it would be going in the paint booth within the next half-hour. I asked for an estimate of when it would be finished and was told that to make sure there were no problems, to give them until Tuesday of this week. I waited until Wednesday of this week to call and was told that my car had just been painted this past Monday and would be finished for sure today. I was also told that they were in the process of putting my car back together while I was on the phone with them. I did not hear from them satisfactorily and called the General Manager. He got back to me and told me that it was still masked up and would not be finished today. I then called [redacted] of America and they told me that they could not help me because I did not own a [redacted]. They said that they can only help people that own [redacted] products. They said they do not have any control over their dealers. It has now been seven weeks for a job that was supposed to only take four weeks to complete. When I called them after four weeks, I told them that I had to take my rental car back and needed my car. They said that they would try to help me if they could. I have received NO HELP what so ever from them.Desired Settlement: I would like a discount on the cost of the repairs because of the extended time frame that they have taken and all of the lies that they have told me.

Review: Dealer quoted repairs at $450.00. Dropped off the vehicle for the quoted repairs. Dealer called and advised that they made additional repairs without my authorization and that the repairs cost $1,200.00. Dealer intentially misrepresented and perfored repairs that were not authorized and then refused to release my vehicle until paid.Desired Settlement: Want to pay only the quoted price of $450.00.

Review: I purchased a [redacted] on 5/3/14. My previous [redacted] was totaled in an accident. There was warranty money left over from this totaled car. The money was used as down payment money for the new [redacted] in the total of $1370.42.

Today, 5/19/14, I get a call from, [redacted], at [redacted] stating that this money was not to be used as down money but was to be applied to the loan payoff ([redacted]). [redacted], the finance person, should have known this at the time of purchase.

Paying this $1370.42, has put a strain on my finances. This $1370.42 was automatically put towards a down payment by [redacted] at [redacted].Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded $1370.42.
