August 11, 2017 Dear Revdex.com,  Mayflower  Van Lines  created a My Site Web Portal for our customers. This site lists the load day for the customers, allows them to review the move documents and electronically sign the proposal for service as well as enter their credit card information.  This site also has a countdown feature that shows each day how many days are left  until loading.  Ms Anderson, mentioned she reviewed this web site several times and watched the countdown to load date. She also used this portal to sign for her documents as well as fill  out the credit card information.  The load date of the shipment out of storage was clearly documented.  Ms. Anderson’s household goods items were loaded out of storage on the guaranteed load date and delivered on the first day of the delivery spread. The paperwork Ms Anderson received both on line as well as in writing reflects the same dates. The load date shown reflects the date the goods are loaded into the truck and begin their transport to New Jersey.   I apologize that Ms Anderson thought it was her delivery day in New Jersey.  Deliveries are always based on a spread of dates based on the weight of a shipment and the mileage the driver must travel. Mayflower Van Lines would have never allowed a one day delivery for a shipment traveling from Houston TX to Livingston NJ a total of 1614 miles.  All Van Lines are required to give a spread of delivery dates.  I apologize   that there was confusion regarding the delivery of their shipment.  As a customer service gesture G and S Moving did send the Anderson’s a check for $500.00. In addition we paid for the reconnect of their washer and dryer at destination  a value of $181.00 and Mayflower Van Lines Corporate, compensated the  overtime charges of $348.12, so that the overflow items would be delivered on a Saturday and the Anderson’s would not have to wait until the following Monday to receive their items.  G and S Moving has done everything possible to work with Ms. Anderson to make her transition as smooth as possible.  We strive to provide excellent customer service and we apologize   for any inconvenience we may have caused.    Sincerely,  A[redacted]PresidentG and S Moving  & Storage          713 649 6600
