Review: We hired this company to lay a new patio. From day one there has been nothing buy problems. First he made excuses about being late and never called. When the patio was complete the sand he put in kept rising to the top and making the patio look like the beach. we called and he said it will disappear shortly.Now almost all the fine sand has washed away. I called up the company that makes the nicolok pavers, and they said he was supposed to use polymeric sand, otherwise the spaces will cause the pave blocks to shift and water when its freezing out will cause the patio to crack. The fine sand he used was the cheap way out, I called him today and he said that is what he was told to use. The manufacture of the paver blocks said this was done incorrectly and he must come back blow out the sand and reapply polymeric sand. Also on my entrance to the patio there is an area that wasn't completed properly and needs brick to lean against it as there is no support. When we hired him he said the job would be $5100.00, but by adding the side of the patio with bricks it became $7200.00, again we asked for an updated receipt, but never got that either. His business is around the corner from our home, but he always has excuses for his poor workmanship. I want to file a complaint about this business and want this patio to be corrected to our expectations. I share the patio with my neighbor who is also writing a complaint to you. Please advise us what we can do about this terrible situation.Desired Settlement: We want this to be corrected properly, if this is not done we want a reimbursement so we can call another company to get this job done. We paid a lot of money to this man, and feel like we have been lied to. We are very upset about this. Please help.
