wax or its temperature. The wax process can cause the skin of those who have sensitive skin to redden upon receiving the service and some time afterward depending on the sensitivity of the skin. Some sensitive skin may even lift during the process.   Ms. [redacted] was in a few days prior to receiving the wax service to receive a facial service. She wanted to get both services done at the same time but we do not allow this to happen because a facial service can cause sensitivity of the skin. Her skin may have still been sensitive from this previous service. Before leaving, the instructor examines the work performed by the student and at that time, Ms. [redacted] mentioned that she began using a new cream that had ingredients in it that exfoliates the skin. This can also cause the sensitivity that she felt after receiving the service. However, all clients are supposed to inform the student of anything that may have changed in their health and skin routine that may cause an issue during the service, and Ms. [redacted] did not inform the student nor the teacher of her use of this cream.   We understand that this may have caused her some discomfort and we have tried to reach out to her to come in for some complimentary facial services to help calm the sensitivity down.
