Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: When I brought the vehicle in the shop they told me that " I guess when they did an oil change they crack the knob/plug that plugs the oil pan" and they did change that little knob and they didn't say or tell me it was a good will courtesyThe vibration was NOT from oversized wheel and yes the truck did have a low profile wheel, but I changed the tires to regular tires that were slightly new, and they DID NOT DO A BALANCED OR ALIGNMENT ON THE TRUCKI had trouble with this truck when I got it and Luis knew of this and when I called GT auto's when my truck broke down I did call GT autos but it wasn't a month later and they told me that Luis was no longer with GT autos and I started working with JDI had asked for all work documentation that was done on the truck since I stated taking it in but they told me that Luis and JD never put anything in the system and there is nothing of any work that was done on the truckWhen I called GT autos shop to speak with Luis but they told me that he was no longer there and I spoke with JD about what had happenI did tell luis a little about what had happen but that was when he wasn't working for GT auto's anymore and that was outside of workSo What I had told JD was when My dad passed the next day my truck broke down and was taken to a shop and they did do a diagnostic and said it was the fuel pump and that got replace but was still not working and could NOT get it running, It never stated or ran againI kept taking it back in forth to the auto place and finally I stopI called JD and told him and they told me that they couldn't help me get the truck back here. I couldn't bring the truck back up here immediately and took me months to finally have it ship up here because they told me that they will help me and trade my truckWhen my truck arrived here in March of 2016, I called JD at GT autos and he had a Chris tow my truck to the shop and I spoke with Chris and found out GT auto could have called him and he would have towed it back here to Tacoma, I told I called and called but they NEVER ONCE TOLD ME ABOUT HIM, and my truck was in there so called shop for months and nothing being done and my stereo got stolen and tire slash and said it wasn't there responsibility for what happens since they have a sign up that says thatREALLY, why treat there so call customers uglyI came in several time when my truck was at GT autos and they just told me it hasn't been looked at because other customers came firstI asked if I could trade it in and JD walked me over to talked to the sales guy and did a credit check and he said the owner said No because there is NO equity and NOT running and there was nothing they could doI was very upset because ALL THIS TIME THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL WORK WITH ME AND TRADE IT IN, GIVING ME HOPEI did how ever tried AGAIN AND ASKED ABOUT TRADE IN, again my credit report was run and talked about how much money I could put down if they were to trade the truck in, so he leave the room and tells me he is going to talk to the owner, I'm waiting for about 45mins and he comes back and says they can't do a trade because the own again says NO equity and NOT running, but for me to fill out a credit thru a company and see if I can get approve and that would credit card will pay for fixing the truck and I asked how much will the fix be and he said to 4000$ and THAN I COULD TRADE IT INUNBELIEVABLESO I said " ok, if I do that I will have payments right?" he was like will at lease you will have a different vehicle... I am a single mom and doing my best and to be treated and taken advantage of is truly disgusting, BUT, BUT I kept paying on the truck even if it was not running and broke downFor GT autos to say they treat their customers as family is a LIE! would you have your mother drive a vehicle that is not running properly? and to say they inspect the vehicles and sale them the in working order is crazy and falseI never stop responding and contacting GT autos about my truck and just out of the blue, I get a call from Karen from GT autos first week of July, that I needed to retrieve my truck or it will be towed away within daysI was shock because JD never called me and I kept calling him and I said the shop was looking at what is wrong with the truck, that never got resolve and I still don't know what is wrongSo I called Chris again and he towed the truck back to my homeI believe that the truck was never really inspected and they never documented all the times I came in because I asked Karen and she looked in the computer and said there is nothing in the logs and my name as well, until they wanted me to apply for the creditTo lie, cheat and treat people unfairness is very low, I honestly believe what Luis wrong is not all correct and not true. I am not the first customer they have done this too, I have read other complaints and they are very similar to mine. THEY DON'T TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS AS FAMILY OR ANYWAY WITH RESPECT. department for a safety Inspection before we advertiseto sell it & we do everything we can to get them In the best condition possible. But the facts are all Vehicles aremachines and even new vehicles could have problems & for this reason we take extra care to try our best to Inspectthem all.We do the majority of our business by referrals so it Is In our best Interest to try Inspected them prior to advertisingthem for sale. Mr. [redacted] received a discount of $977.00 (Nine hundred & seventy-Seven dollars & no cents) on thisvehicle, the asking price was $23.977.00 with a discount of $977.00 she paid $23,00.00 with tax & license (please seeExhibit A VEHICLE PURCHASE ORDER) plus possible credit at Tune Station fer extra's, it also states wheel swap, Amp's &10" sub & Installation at no extra cost (Exhibit B GT Auto Sales - Sales worksheet).Mr. [redacted] purchased his vehicle as Is- No Warranty (Please see Exhibit C VEHICLE PURCHASE ORDER) if you look at theVehicle Purchase Order on the left side I starred & circled this:( FOR "AS-IS SALE ONLY: I AM FULLY AWARE THAT "AS-IS"MEANS THAT I ASSUME 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL FAULTS THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS NOW OR IN THE FUTURE,AND THAT I AM RELEASING THE DEALERSHIP FROM ANY RESPONSIBILTIES AND/OR LIABILITIES REGARDING THISVEHICLE ....... ). Also (Exhibit D & E BUYERS GUIDE).But on a good note Mr. [redacted] purchased a service contract (See Exhibit A).Here is a time line of what we show happened by JD & Myself (Luis - Service Manager): Around September 14th 2015Mr. [redacted] contact JD our Military Liason when the service department was closed & stated the car was overheating. JDInformed him to bring it by the dealership which he did & he had me look at the coolant which it was low so JD addedcoolant (JD Is also a mechanic but at this time was his salesmen). He left to his house & in about 30 minutes later hiswife [redacted] called saying the car had stopped. JD went to them & tried to help start It but it wouldn't start so we pushedit to the gas station. JD called Jackpot towing to tow the vehicle to the dealership. When I, Luis came in I tried to
pencil it in as soon as possible, at this time we had one mechanic. I asked why they hadn't left it at the dealership sinceit was running so rough & at this point he should have left the malfunctioning vehicle on our lot to be inspected at ourearliest conveniences. Now please read my timellne (Exhibit F-A typed list of dates and time line). In it - it shows thatwe tried to help Mr. [redacted] even when we were short staff & backed up.JD hadn't heard from them after this & had asked me around September 23rd 2015 on what is going on with their vehicleat this time I informed him that do to time frame of doing his repair & being short staff that he wanted it to go toTacoma Dodge for the repairs. JD drove It to Tacoma Dodge & came back & said the vehicle never over heated on thetrip down there. This was the last we have heard from them until we received this complaint.Had or if Mr. [redacted] contacted (s) us we would love ta chance to help him in the future. Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 11 (eleven) year old vehiclewith 232,544 (two hundred & thirty-three thousand- five hundred and forty-four) miles on It & Mrs. [redacted] received adiscount of $2,500 on this vehicle, the askins price was $10.999.00 with a discount of $2,500.00 she paid $8,499.00 withtax & license (please see Exhibit A VEHICLE PURCHASE ORDER.)We here at Gt Auto Did find a minor oil leak, the vehicle was leaking from the drain plug gasket, we had Mrs. [redacted] signa Good Will so we could take a look & we performed a free oil change which remedied the problem of the leak at nocharge to her. The vibration she was feeling was from the oversized wheel & tires that were on the vehicle when shepurchased it; which are not factory equipment & so for another courtesy we balanced the wheels for free, again we didnot have to do this but we always try to do what we can ln hopes to make our customers happy. We asked the customer if she could get the vehicle back to Washington for us to perform another freediagnostic & give her a quote at our cost for the repairs. From that point on we have had no interaction with the
customer nor have we heard back or haven't looked at her vehicle. We here at GT Auto Sales consider all ourcustomer's family & this Includes Mrs. [redacted] & would gladly tilke her vehicle In on trade for fair market value. Good Morning - This is in response to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].  We do acknowledge her wait time exceeded the time quoted and we are happy to refund the repair cost of $32.00.  Additionally, the Pirelli tire which was repaired carries an inner and outer designation on the...

sidewall for mounting.  Our technician inadvertently mounted the tire with the inner side out which led to the confusion that we had installed a different tire back on Ms. [redacted]s' Volvo.  The tire has since been reinstalled properly as well as the valve cap (not the stem) replaced.  We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience to Ms. [redacted]. Each of the wheels on this vehicle have prior scuff damage to them and we deny damaging the wheel. Our tire equipment is specifically designed not to touch the face of the rims.  However, in an effort to alleviate the situation, we had offered to have the wheel refurbished at our expense which was not satisfactory to Ms. [redacted]. At this point, we feel that we have tried to address this issue in the best and fairest manner.    Sincerely, [redacted] Delaware Tire, President
