In response to Mr***’s situation, we conducted a home visit to examine his lift, we communicated with the manufacturer regarding his concerns, developed a plan and discussed the resolve with the customer. The necessary modifications were performed on 1/9/to the complete
satisfaction of Mr***. The manufacturer extended the product warranty to offset any inconvenience from not being able to use the lift. We have asked Mr*** to contact us if there are any other concerns. We thank you and appreciate the opportunity to respond to this. With regards,*** ** ***
Review: GT monility was contracted in the fall on 2013 to install a wheelchair lift for my disabled son. The work was completed in November of last year and they have been paid in full for services. The lift they installed however is not operational and is deemed unsafe to use by their own technician. I have made numerous calls to GT mobility and Harmar (the manufacturer): GT mobiliy feels they have no responsibility for the non-operation lift. The manufacturer said they will provide an immediate solution in when they inspected the lift in October. To date I have not been contacted by Harmar nor have they returned my calls. GT mobility refuses to do do anything.Desired Settlement: GT Mobility was contracted and paid over a year ago to install this lift. If they cannot repair it immediately they need to remove it and refund our installation cost.
