Review: I took my mower to mulch n more to get services. I advised that my biggest complaint was that the throddle was much slower than last year. I also asked to have the right and left controls looked at along with a tune up. There was absolutly nothing wrong with my mower before I took it there I just wanted my yearly check up and review. Last year I took it there (same mower) and had everything looked over and tuned up along with all hydro controls. The bill was only a little over $200. When I dropped the mower off last week I was told it would only take few days as they were backed up. There was a new mechanic, not the same as last year. I called yesterday and was advised there was something horribly wrong with my mower and it was taking longer than expected. I advised there is nothing wrong and I would be by this morning to pick it up. When I picked it up I found out that they did not fix my forward/throddle controls that I was most concerned about, in fact they made it worse. They advised that my right hydro pump was getting ready to go out. I advised there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it in. A few years ago they had completed work on my other mower and a few weeks later my pump went out.. I had no proof that they did something wrong, but if this one goes out I will have my proof. I have been advised from another service shop that if a tune up is done incorrectly it could make the pump go bad shortly after the tune up. They advised that they didnt charge for the full labor that it took to fix my mower, which is not fixed, it is worse. They also completed work that I did not authorize and put it on my bill and there is oil all over my mower. The total bill was over $300 when it was supposed to be less work than they did last year. I feel as though the mechanic is slower and does not know what he is doing therefor I feel as though they are gouging people.Desired Settlement: I am highly upset about the outcome of this and have lost all faith in their service shop! I would like a refund for my repairs as I am going to take my mower to another shop. And if my pump goes out in the near future I will expect for Mulch N More to cover a new/used pump to be put on my mower at another shop. I know what a bad pump sounds like and acts like and my mower did not have any signs before it went into their shop. If they found something that needed to be fixed then they should have picked up the phone instead of taking it upon their selves.
