Our response to customer’s complaintIn early May we put a new hood and repaired and painted front drivers side, hood and bumper of the carThere were no nicks or dents in her car when it left our shopA month later she came back stating that the paint was rough and had dirt in it—there was no mention of hood not fitting properly or of nicks in the paintHowever, we did find two-stone chips in hood-there were of us who saw themA neighbor-who also does body and paint work happened to be here and saw themAfter she picked her car up-after we buffed and wet sanded it—she called and complained about the stone chipsWe told her we were not going to do anything about them because they were done from drivingit notusAgain, nothingwas mentioned about the hood or any other problems with her carWe heard nothing more from her til October (months after work was done)She said hood did not seat properly and still upset about paintWe told her we would line up her hood,but could not do it at that momentShe got very mad,said she would call the Police and turn us into Revdex.comHer hood to me looked like someone had sat on itEach time customer called to complain she wanted a refundWe also had numerous hail storms in the months after her car was repairedWe do not think she keeps her car indoors,since each time we worked on it we had to clean it firstWe have been doing business for yrs and have never had any problems like this beforeWe have many loyal customers

I am rejecting this response because: When a new hood Is put on a car its the garage that is responsible to have all the necessary parts for it to fit correctly Regardless of what time has passed I paid my hard earned money to this garage and the paint job and hood were not done correctly and to my satisfaction, which as a paying customer is my right to have receivedThe company's other customers are and should not be my concern this has nothing to do with the services I paid to have done correctly and to my satisfactionIf all their customers receive a satisfied service as they say I should have had the sameThe proof is still on this car and there is no denying that.

I am rejecting this response because: The initial complaint that I had is the dirt in the paint which is clearly the paint job of this company. I have before and after photos which are dated of the work done. As far as the hood I also mentioned that when I took it back for the paint to be fixed. When I picked up my car the hood and paint were not fixed. I have before and after pictures of nicks on my car after work being done. The garage did admit that there was dirt in the paint and that the hood was not put on properly and I also have many witnesses to this. My biggest issue is the dirt in my paint job which is permanently in my paint and looks really bad.  When they claimed to had buffed it out all I received was a car with dirt still in the paint job and scuff marks from the sanding or buffing which made the car and paint job even worse. The lapse of time in between appointments is due to the unavailability of the garage for me to come there.  Regardless of the time in between the paint job is not right, the hood is not right which once again was admitted by the garage staff.  I have tried to resolve this issue obviously several times with no satisfactory.  When I payed money to get this done I expected to get it done the correct way. However the garage staff when confronted were very hostile. Im sure they would not be satisfied with the job if it was one of their own cars. All im requesting is fairness and refunded the cost of my paint job and hood placement so I can correct the issues that they did not.

We heard nothing more from her til October (6 months after work was done). She said hood did not seat properly and still upset about paint. We told her we would line up her hood,but could not do it at that moment. She got very mad,said she would call the Police and turn us into Revdex.com. Her hood to me looked like someone had sat on it. Each time customer called to complain she wanted a refund. We also had numerous hail storms in the months after her car was repaired. We do not think she keeps her car indoors,since each time we worked on it we had to clean it first. We have been doing business for 20 yrs and have never had any problems like this before. We have many loyal customers.
