Review: Start date was Nov . **, 2015. Was supposed to last no longer than 2 weeks. It is now Feb. **, 2016 and it's not done. The first day he and his grandson started demolishing and at the end of the day my water main valve was broken - no water for 4 days. Had a new water main put in. He complained that my plumber was delaying his work. Not true. He was working on the other side of the room. He cut his finger and I didn't hear from him for three days nor any of his workers. I asked to box in my heating pipe and put mostly grating to let the heat out. Instead he made a huge box with little grating and my basement is extremely cold. I asked for a door to the front room and instead he put a bi-fold door that doesn't really fit and it lets a lot of cold air in. Never finished my doors. I asked him to stain them. My steps were supposed to be entirely replaced - he only replaced the steps and not the platform - supposed to stain them but he pained them - one coat and they are chipping. I asked to have a light at the top of the stairs - he put it in but didn't put a switch at the bottom of the stairs to shut it off. I am still waiting for my bathroom window. Some of the outlets are not put in right and I can't put plugs in them.Desired Settlement: I would like the job finished the right way or money back. At this point he owes me money. I paid him $12,400.00 and the bill for what he did was $12,140.00. That priced of $12,140.00 included a window for the bathroom at $450.00 and a bifold door he didn't put in and the stuff he didn't finish. Plus he made the entryway so small to my laundry room that if I have to change my washer or dryer I could not fit them through the door - he wanted to put a bifold door there too. Charged for it but not put in because of the size.
