I had a licensed electrician replace the panel The oven had been converted to from to The electrician wired it to a breaker as it was originally Another contractor had wired plugs to the isolated circuitThis was a code violation to rewrite the
circuits in this manner The customer wanted us to pay for appliances that she plugged into a a circuit that was because of the code violation of another contractor We told her we would offer her to have new igniters installed in her gas oven The customer began sending long hateful emails and posted negative reviews on several sites We decided we would offer no further assistance to this customer As far as the wiring in the apartmentWe did not have any electrical work on that part of the contractWhile doing the work she canceled parts of the contract and changed the scope of workI did not charge her for these changesShe paid me in full and has asked me to bid on further work but I respectfully declined. I am working with people to get the documentation you want. Talked with testing company, they are talking with their engineers. Will have to make appointments and all that, Contractor get's all the time he needs to reply I would hope you'd give me some time also though you haven't been fair thur far. You are just ignoring other problems besides the discoloration, plus the contractor hasn't proved he purchased the material so I can't follow up with the material manufacturer. Just as he needs written proof of no rust in my water, I need written proof of where he purchased the materials. Something tells my you don't really care about my problem, just want to go thru the appearance of handling the problem so [redacted] will keep paying you off.

Sent: Saturday, May 6, 2017 3:13:01 PM Subject: Case #[redacted] Re: [redacted]
       [redacted]
[redacted] I visited this residence on Monday, April 24 to evaluate the installation of an [redacted] product, [redacted].  This product, along with a porcelain bodied tile installed on the shower walls, was installed as a vertical liner in a shower. The product is a mesh mounted composite consisting of natural slate and glass. Natural Slate is known to potentially bleed out minerals when subject to moisture. In an installation that is subjected to moisture, it is best practice to seal the slate. This would be true of any natural stone used in a shower or area subjected to moisture. It is important to note that I did not witness or supervise any of the installation procedures. I do not have specific knowledge of any product used outside what I could observe in the finished installation. In that regard, I did observe two things worth noting. First, it does not appear that a sealer was used on the slate components of the mosaic. Some of the mosaic slate pieces did indeed bleed out and that evidence was present in the form of discoloration of the surrounding grout. This was only the case on some of the pieces, not all. This is not uncommon on slate that is not sealed. Regarding the claim that the pipes were affecting the mosaic from behind the installation, I find this highly unlikely if not impossible. Any leaks in the shower could not possible isolate a single piece on the mosaic for impact. Again, only some pieces were impacted. Second, I observed cracking at several vertical plane changes. For example where the walls meet vertically, or where a wall meets the floor. It is standard procedure to caulk these intersections and there was no evidence of caulk having been used. Finally, Mr. [redacted], having talked to a representative from Custom Building Products, used one of their sealers to seal the slate and has solved the problem. [redacted] is supplying sealing and cleaning materials for future use. Please note my contact information below and I am available for additional consultation. Finally had someone from [redacted] contact me, after I put a review on Facebook.  [redacted] representative David [redacted]r  is suppose to be sending you a letter with his assessment. He stated that it was obvious that the water from my pipes was not the problem. Also stated that slate tile should've been sealed at installation and it wasn't. Mr [redacted]r actually came out and looked, something [redacted] has never done. Wondering how Revdex.com will cover for him now.

Have an appointment for someone to check my shower Monday, should send you information shortly thereafter.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2017 10:52 AMSubject: Re: CID [redacted]In summary, [redacted] per our contract, purchased the material then when there's a problem he says it's between me and the material supplier, [redacted]. Until just recently [redacted] wasn't able to verify where he purchased the material and it's still not certain whether the material maker will honor any warranty, first because it was purchased thru a third party and second, the tile wasn't what sealed after installation which is what caused the problem to begin with. The correct material wasn't used in the corner of the shower and it started falling out. It's also cracking along the ceiling, another place where differnt planes meet. I haven't even mentioned the shower head squirts water out the back and will have to be replaced. I gave [redacted] plenty opportunity to remedy the problem, which probably could be fixed by cleaning and sealing the slate and putting caulk in the corner. He never even volunteered to come out and look at it. Contracted with [redacted] to remove replace a shower in my house. We emphacised that we wanted something that didn't have to be sealed and wouldn't stain and mildew. Shortly after work was completed the slate tile in the shower started turning the grout (the grout that wasn't suppose to stain) rusty colored running about 1/3 of the way down to the floor toward the drain. I contacted [redacted] and sent pictures. He said it looked bad, would contact his supplier to see if they'd had this problem before. Months went by and didn't hear from him again. When I contacted him again he said it was obviously rust coming from my pipes. He decided this without coming out and looking, without anything other than his opinion that this relieved him of any responsibility for the ugly shower. I must mention that there is no signs of rust anywhere else in the house. He refers me to [redacted], the company that made the slate tile. Our contract said that [redacted] would purchase all materials, but now that there was a problem he says it's between me and the material maker. He gave me a contact in San Antonio but when I contacted them they'd never heard of [redacted]. She referred me to a representative in Spring, Dave [redacted]r who likewise had never heard of  [redacted]. [redacted]r researched and the last communication I got from him was that they could not verify that [redacted] purchased the materials from [redacted]. In [redacted]'s response he lists Chris [redacted] as his representative. [redacted] says that [redacted] did purchase the material somehow thru another party's account. Still haven't  heard from local representative [redacted]r. [redacted] also said that the natural stones should be sealed. The slate in my shower wasn't, and that is most probably the cause of the  problem. [redacted] keeps bringing up the fact that I have an old house and must have rust in the pipes, well, because he says so. I did a water test purchased from [redacted] which didn't register iron in the water. Arranged thru [redacted] for a home water test, their findings were the same. [redacted] says I haven't given proof. No one has asked for proof. He says it's not his problem, and [redacted] so far hasn't acknowledged any responsibility either. Don't know if they will warranty products purchased thru a third party. [redacted] keeps saying that [redacted] is working on a settlement. They haven't contacted me. In addition, [redacted] has chosen to just ignore the grout falling our of the corner of the shower. I did research and seems that grout shouldn't be used in corners where different planes meet.Regards,
