Review: Purchased a screen via eBay, they sold me a screen that failed after less then 2 weeks of operating... Refused to answer phone calls or emails.Desired Settlement: A full refund back.

Review: This company advertises that the screens and digitizers they have are used and 100% working and tested. I ordered one from them on eBay. It came unbelievably fast in two days at New Years. It didn't work. I got ahold of them by email and explained that this kindle fire is important that the person I am doing it for suffered brain damage a year ago after accident and this kindle fire is everything to them including communication with their family in the house or people she is trying to talk with as her speech is severely impaired now., besides all the other things it does for her. They said they couldn't send one out till I returned it as I told them of the urgency. They said if I wanted to get it fast I had to buy another then return first one for refund. I asked them please to check this one good as I can't afford to have another bad they promised they would so I ordered a new one and it took 7 days to get to me compared to the two at a holiday, All of this is after I explained the urgency of the matter.

I receive the second one and low and behold it does not work again. This time only half screen works. I am upset now it wasn't checked and it got their super slow. I now have two I have paid for and no closer to getting this girl her kindle back that she so desperately needs.

I talk to them Via live chat on their website. Gadgetfix.com. They know I am upset and they send me a label to send back the two items and promise to me as soon as they see movement o line of package they will send me the new one supposedly really checked out now. That was last Friday. Well it's now Tuesday and no package usps says a ticket was made but that's it. It was made jan 9th and it's now the 13th. I am so upset but the really bad part is they have lied to me all along. I think they have the items drop shipped so they can't really check them. They just say they do. They have done nothing they said they would and just one lie after another. Something needs to be done. ITS NOT FAIR.Desired Settlement: To have the items refunded and the packaged sent asap. Next day air and checked like they promise they do.
