I called before the procedure to discover it was not covered by insurance If I paid within days, I would get a 75% discount After the procedure, I called and was told what to pay I paid the amount stated Two weeks later I was billed what was supposed to have been discounted I called and they said they would apply the discouutn That was about weeks ago, and I got another bill asking me to pay the "discount" that they had not postedI should not have to call times
I had my cost for year covered for my insurance, already paying a lot out, so at 100% coverage I went forward with plan for colonoscopy and endoscopy! But first waited for pre-certificate from insurance that it was covered, went to a doctor and facility that was in network, got EOB that all was covered 100%! But still got a bill for $400 from anesthesia care, so I called them, while on hold there was this whole spill about why do I have a bill, because we are out of network, so they0 do this often!! When I reached someone they told cost is for what insurance didn't cover for their out of network that I was lucky because usually their customers insurance covers zero of their bill??? So I asked her when I do all right, have 100%, get pre-certified, go to in network doctor and facilities, how am I to know they have hired a anesthesia group, although they are local, they are not in network to work at the facility they was at?? She said you should have been told about us before you go back for test...I was not and I told her I was not, so how was I to say no to them and their high cost, she said well I can offer you the customairy 75% discount we give our customers like this, but if you don't it is set to go to collections tomorrow if you don't pay it today...can you say frequently done scam in this??? I do!! So watch out!!
