I am rejecting this response because:
I was mislead by the seller that the car was up to par for purchasing. I purchased the car with those stickers on it, in Oct 2016. I was told by a Law Enforcement Agent, who saw me assisting a friend and alerted me of the fraudulent stickers. His information is also enclosed for your convience to contact him directly about the day in question on April 30, 2017, while leaving a paintball event with my family. The officer even spoke directly to the seller via telephine that at that time. I can only assume because I was not being stopped for a moving violation and also explained to the officer that I had recently just purchased the car; I was not issued a written warning or citation. The officer also refuted the seller's claim about the 'stickers fading in the sun'. The follwing sentence is a direct quote from business's repsonse letter:"Ultimately, the customer was offered the opportunity to come in and have an inspection done on the vehicle after that expiration of 12/2017, but never did so and is now attempting to get out of a binding contract requiring her to completely make full payment on this vehicle."This is a lie. They NEVER offered me any opportunity for anything, as the stickers were supposedly good until 12/17. Also, when I contacted the seller on May 1st, 2017 to resolve the problem, he stated that he would not put valid stckers on it because they were valid. I feel that my confidence as a consumer has been shattered. There are all kinds of stories about how women should not purchase cars alone. If salespeople were honest, it would not be an issue.Regards,[redacted]

fraudulent stickers as the basis for an almost total refund of the sale price after even having the vehicle well over a 6-mth period. Most of our vehicles are purchased through various auction sites.  While our business is a repair shop, we are also a used vehicle dealer, however, we are NOT an inspection station at this time.  Our vehicles are put through a 120-point inspection by our in house mechanic and a road test before any sale or even payment arrangements for sale can be made.  There was no reason to remove the VALID stickers from the vehicle before sale because they were still current and posed no issue to remain on the vehicle. After some time had passed, the customer contacted the mechanic and stated that there was a distressing situation and while driving, she herself downshifted the manual vehicle without the clutch.  This mistake is what caused issues with the transmission, once again an occurrence well after the sale had been made. In regards to the inspections stickers, there are instances where the color may fade, but our business is NOT involved in placing or even providing fake emissions and safety stickers to ANY customer due to the serious consequences by the Pennsylvania State authorities for doing so.  The customer never provided any citation or even a warning made by this "officer stating that the stickers were fake".Ultimately, the customer was offered the opportunity to come in and have an inspection done on the vehicle after that expiration of 12/2017, but never did so and is now attempting to get out of a binding contract requiring her to completely make full payment on this vehicle.
