I was bait and switched by Gainsville coin I ordered 5oz silver shot webpage showed it was in stock the day after I ordered they called to verify payment and took money from my account and never said it wasn't in stock days later they called and said it was tied up in customs and they could send me a oz silver instead or wait until they got it in stock I took bar so I wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee I make jewelry and have no use for a silver bar when I received bar it was very low quality with scratches and unpolished cast marks there are many reputable silver dealers out there this is not one of them
I ordered coin for a total of $on May 22,the money was taken out of my checking account on May 25,2016, I received phone call from Gainesville coin Coasking to to speak to me I tried to call back but did not know who to speak toToday 6/1/I received a call again from the company wanting to verify my order address and what I ordered, then was told that I would have to verify again by email my order before they would ship my coin to meThey had already taken the money but would not ship my order even after verifying the information over the phone, I then asked to speak to a supervisor was on hold for minutes, never spoke to a supervisor , spoke again to the person who originally called me and was told the supervisor was in a meeting and they would ship it this time without e mail verificationI then asked for a phone number for a supervisor so I could call them later and was told he did not have a number for the supervisorI called the sales dept and got the recording to leave a message which I didI will not be ordering anything else from this company as they have had my money for days and not shipped it yet, The email states they are worried about worldwide fraudulent activity...if that is so why did the take the money days ago, it seems if they were that worried about fraudulent activity they would have verified it before taking my moneySo the lesson here is they will take your money wait days want to verify over the phone then by email and maybe ship your order.I have ordered silver from several other companies and never had this problem, I placed an order and my order was shipped by the other companies ,not so with this one they want you to jump through hoops to get your orderThis will be the only order I will ever place with this company

I have shopped around, and have found Gainesville Coins to be as competitive as anyone else I have been able to locate. Shortly after my order is placed, I receive a shipping notice and deliveries have always been on time. Only being affiliated with them as a customer, I am well pleased and highly recommend them.
