Review: I saw Dr Fatemi 6/22/13 to determine if I was a candidate for dental implants. He determined I needed implants. At that time he gave me a treatment plan(Included in Additional Details as 'treatment case 6-22-13'). On 7/11/13 I saw the Doctor for the initial complete dental exam, x-rays and denture impressions. A Welcome Dental Exam is advertised on Dr Fatemi's website for $39(Included in Additional Details as 'advertised on website'). It includes initial exam, consultation, x-rays and an oral cancer screening. Dr Fatemi charged me $155 for x-rays and $97 for the exam, for a total of $252(Included in Additional Details as 'billing error'). These charges are not included in the treatment plan issued on 6/22/13. He did not speak to me of them nor did he give me a bill for these charges when performed. I believe the Doctor has advertising issues that favor only himself. Improper billing may also be an issue in this case. Dr Fatemi's website address, where his advertising can be found is "http://www.fatemifamilydentistry.com/about_us.php".Desired Settlement: Dr Fatemi has overcharged me by at least $213($155 for x-rays + $97 for exam - $39 for welcome exam). I would like my $213 refunded to me as soon as possible. I am not disputing the $85 charge for the diagnostic casts. Finally, an apology from Dr. Fatemi would not be out of order. Thus I have not seen or read Dr. Fatemi's response.

This is my response to Dr. Fatemi's response. There are more than a few inaccurate statements in the Doctor's letter. I will only address what I feel are most important to my case. I have enclosed 3 attachments. Two of them were attached with my original complaint. Rather than have you search for them I have included them again.
