I purchased a dishwasher from Sears, and it was to be delivered on 10/7/the window was 3pm - 7pm I got home at exactly 3pm, I checked my caller id and saw that Galaxy had tried to call my at 2:30pm, they left a message that said their driver was in the area to please call back and confirm...........I tried call at least time, but kept getting a message that said please hold someone will be right with you it would repeat that about times then it would transfer you to a line that rang continuously but no answer I assumed that since I had a delivery window that they would attempt to redeliver since my window was from 3- However I was just informed that it was my fault for not being home when they got there, and I would have to reschedule, and the next available date was not until 10/13/15! I find this very, very unprofessional they should have attempted to redeliver within the time frame that was agreed upon If that driver was in front of my house at 3pm should he not have gone up to the door again? And to top it off Jennifer at Galaxy was very rude!

Galaxy Home Appliances has by far the worst service I have ever experienced. The reps. are rude and act as if they offer a one of a kind service. The owner must hire family as I can not see any other reason employees would behave in the manner in which they do. Galaxy has not displayed an unprofessional demeanor and the techs that are sent out do not seem to have a clue of what they are doing.

we ordered water heater from Sears at around 11:00am. We choose Sears because they provide same day installation. The installation went to Galaxy Home Application Inc. At around 3:00pm they called and informed they were not able to come and have to re-schedule to the next day 12-4pm. I asked wasn't it the same-day installation? She told me they just got the order. What? Did I ordered the product and installation before noon? Who is lying?

The next day, about 2:30pm. Their Master plumber came. When he met me in front of our door he yelled at me: it is a two man's work and they send me along. I said why you yell at me , you'd better complain to your company. After he took a look at where our old water heater is, he said he can not do the job. I asked why, he said because he do not want to be responsible for our carpet if he get our carpet dirty. I asked whether he has any kind protection blanket or plastic sheets. He said: it is your carpet, you should have it covered. I am not doing it. And then walked away kept saying " I am not doing it... I am not doing it...".

I called Sears right after. The rep and her supervisor either could solve the problem. They connected me to Galaxy. However the lady was the same one with rude attitude who told me that it was our responsibility to protect our carpet, they can not install water heater for us unless we have our carpet covered. I was trying to ask if they have protection blanket but without even speak out she rudely hang up.

I again called Sears. Sears rep could not even get connected with the company anymore, saying there was no one answering the phone. It was only 3:30pm.

I will never use service from Galaxy and I warn your Chicagoans, Galaxy Home Application Inc. will definitely ruin your expectations in all directions if you want a water heater installation!

Bought a water softener through [redacted] and Galaxy were the installers. The technician arrived and installed it to my satisfaction. However, [redacted] never told me that I had to remove the old salt from the old softener and the technician couldn't haul away the old one, even though I had paid for the service, because it was too heavy. He said that he would have to send for it at a later date.
To date, I have had 4 calls in to [redacted] to get the old one hauled away. I have tried to call Galaxy numerous times but their phone goes to voice mail. They have not responded to any requests to complete the job.
They have spoiled a good installation and from the number of poor reviews they are getting I suspect that they will not be in business very long.
Sorry Galaxy, you get a miserable review for your service!

Galaxy, a contract installer for a new water heater we purchased at Sears, arrived on time to replace our aging (but still operational) unit. When the installer completed the install, he THEN conducted an inspection of the new unit only to find part(s) missing, rendering the new unit inoperable. Installer subsequently requested my wife to call, argue and attempt to explain to inapt [redacted] employees what the issue was. Installer departed our residence leaving us (a family of 5 with 3 young kids) without hot water. Calls to Galaxy the following day produced no results or empathy. They simply didn't care. In their eyes they were paid to install the unit irrespective of its operational capability. We finally got hot water 5 days later after we cancelled the entire corder and bought a new one at another vendor. Ironically, Galaxy just got their Revdex.com accreditation on 11/1/15 even though our issue occurred several days earlier. Apparently, getting accredited involves a business to set forth a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any customer complaints. Guess, we were the exception. Further research indicated that Galaxy had 5 reviews in its portfolio, 2 neutral and 3 negative. Right on par. However, considering that Revdex.com accreditiation is a pay for service with Revdex.com, I am not at all surprised. Galaxy's customer care to me was abysmal. Hope you have better luck with them than we did but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are fond of COLD showers!!!

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication from Galaxy Home Appliance Inc. I ordered an appliance from Sears and had to cancel then reorder the same appliance due to a promotion that Sears had. I called Galaxy Home Appliance and spoke to an individual to move the delivery date and time and she said that someone would call me the day before my delivery day to confirm a 4 hour delivery window. She seemed very nice and helpful on the phone and I trusted that my appliance would be delivered when scheduled. Since I am a teacher, I work from 8AM-3PM, which coincidentally are also Galaxy's business hours. Someone called to confirm my 4 hour time window and left a voicemail at about 11:30AM the day before my delivery. I called them back at 3:15PM and left a voicemail confirming my delivery time. Since I hadn't heard from them, I called again at 8AM the next day and again at 2:30PM leaving a voicemail 2 times. No one returned my phone call. The delivery was scheduled for a Saturday. The following Monday I received a phone call asking about the delivery confirmation of my appliance. I then asked the person on the phone "What happened to the delivery on Saturday? I called three times, left three voice mails and no one returned my phone call." She told me their phones were down and they didn't get any voice mails. She then tried to schedule another delivery the next Saturday and I told her it had to be in the morning because I was not available in the evening. She said she would try her best to schedule something in the morning and then reassured me that if I didn't pick up my phone on Friday (the day before the delivery) she would call me on Saturday morning. Friday came and went and still NO phone call. I come to find out that they called my husband and said they were coming in the evening on Saturday, which he had to reschedule. I called on Friday afternoon and left a voicemail because I was expecting a call from them, NOT my husband. My phone number is the primary number on file and no one tried to contact me. After speaking to them my husband finally scheduled something for a Friday. However, he had to request off of work on that Friday because we were worried they would try to come in the evening on a Saturday again (we had dinner plans for our anniversary so it wouldn't have worked out AGAIN). The Thursday before I was contacted by a representative and said to her, "Why did you call my husband and why do you have such a hard time returning phone calls? I am disappointed with the lack of communication from your business and now I am extremely weary at the ability for you to deliver and install my appliance properly." All she said was, "I'm sorry". Not enough for the stress caused with the lack of communication in their company and with their customers. Luckily, our appliance did come and our delivery guy was helpful and seemed to do a good job. We've only had it for less than a day. Hopefully it continues to work.
