*** Hall picked up his grill and grill cover in JulyWe were out of pellets when the grill
was picked upWe explained that the manufacturer has been out of stock
repeatedly this year due to the high volume of sales and told *** that he can use any pellets with the grill.*** Hall came into the
store and dropped off the grill without any explanation*** stated the grill is not working and he thought it was because he was using a different
brand of pelletsHall also stated he has an ill family member and will be back after to
pick up the grill.We talked to the
manufacturer and we were able to determine that the
customer did not follow the proper shutdown method explained in the owner's manualBecause the customer did not let the grill cool down, he burned off the fanThe
entire fan was missing from the grillI have attached photos showing the fan being burnt off and
comparing the burnt fan to a new fan.The customer did not talk to Green Mountain Grill because they have no record of itAlso, Green Mountain Grill was able to quickly diagnose the issue over the phone.*** Hall must have known he burnt the fan and was trying to return a defective grillThe grill is extremely usedAlthough the burnt fan is not covered under warranty, we replaced it for freeThe grill has been in working condition since Augus t 8th and we have notified the customer it is ready for
pick up
