Buying an elevator from Galaxy Lifts has been a terrible experience. Communications from Galaxy are extremely poor and uncoordinated. Kristie White in the Galaxy office seems to be trying but it has been very hard to get information to or from the installers.
I ordered a Traveler Lift in June 2025 and 3 ½ months later, I still don’t have an elevator and I don’t even have an installation date scheduled. They refused to schedule installation until I had paid the FULL balance. I regret having paid the entire amount, but they bullied me into paying them. I suspect they may have had previous problems with getting paid and/or they have financial problems.
Now I can’t get a straight answer as to when they can install my Traveler Lift. It was ordered in June 2025 and the full balance was paid in August 2025. Even though my payment had already been deposited in their bank account, Galaxy continued to send me payment reminders that if I didn’t pay the 2nd installment, my order would be cancelled. After I complained several times Galaxy stopped sending the reminders and finally allowed an installation date to be scheduled. I gave them an entire week from September 29 thru October 3 to do the job. They failed to show up that week and wanted to come the following Monday. But the house was already rented for that week.
I still don’t know when they will install it. Kristie politely refers me to Jeremy, the installer, who in turn texts me that he will contact their scheduling rep (?) to find out. In the meantime, I cannot afford to block the house for multiple weeks for maintenance repairs because I am losing revenue without any Airbnb bookings.
I highly do NOT recommend Galaxy Lifts due to the difficulty with their administration. If, and when, I get my elevator I can then comment on their product.
