I purchased a 2005 [redacted] Murano from Galleria Motors on May 27, 2016. Drove the car for only 2weeks On June 8th and realized a loud knocking noise... Took the car to [redacted] in Durham, NC to get a diagnostic test. My Motor blew, transmission issues and other small repairs are needed. [redacted] mechanic stated that my car was unsafe too drive. My car has been parked since then. I'm left without transportation to and from work and school. They came up with some warranty scam , too get the car fix. The warranty people denied the claim and told me too return the car to the dealership. [redacted] the salesman stated that I had only 48 hrs to return the car. I feel I lost $6999, and payments are steady coming out my account monthly. I have spent fees on diagnostic test and tow fees that I feel they should have paid. Now, all of sudden[redacted] out of town and I am constantly getting the run around and its been now 3months, (problem solved).. Please help! This was my first car at 21 I purchased. [redacted] stated that someone painted the stick too cover the oil readings.. Please help!Product_Or_Service: 2005 [redacted] MuranoDesired SettlementI want my money back.. Business Response Galleria Motors sold the customer mentioned above this vehicle AS IS with no warranty from Galleria Motors. She has an active extended warranty coverage on her vehicle. We are aware of the situation and we are actively helping her with warranty company she has on her vehicle for the warranty company to cover the cost of the repair. We are not sure why she is complaining here about Galleria Motors, since Galleria Motors is actively helping her out with her extended warranty coverage she has on her vehicle!! Consumer Response My car has been down since June.... We are in August going into September. Since then... I took it too [redacted] in Durham, Galleria Motors said the quote was too high.. Took it too [redacted] auto a company that the warranty people deals with and the manager and [redacted] stated that their quote was too high.. Now he wants me too pay $150 tow, to another shop in Raleigh. Originally the warranty people denied it, now he stated they are willing too pay half and they will pay the other half if we get the car to Raleigh.. So, we will see .. I will agree to get the car there, within the next few days. We haven't heard from them since the first week of August, now since this ongoing claim .. They just recently got in contact with us about the car. Hopefully we can resolve the problem soon, with Galleria Motors fixing the car accordingly. Just don't want to get another run around. and yes it was sold as is, but within 2weeks motor problems, transmission issues and air-conditioning.. it just don't seem realistic, my first car with so many issues. I pray that this issue get resolved without having too go to court or further steps!
