I sold the longblock to the customer in February She called me shortly after and stated that she was having some problems with the motor and gave me her mechanics phone numberAfter talking with her mechanic we could not determine the problemNormally I would request to see the vehicle but since she lives a couple of hours away, I decided to just send another rebuilt motorI paid for shipping and the mechanics fee for installation.Months later I received a call from her and was told that the motor was knocking and using oilThis time I requested that the vehicle be brought to me since we build many of these motors and rarely have an issue with oneMy thought was that there is most likely something not working properly on the vehicle causing the motor problemsShe towed the vehicle to a mechanic shop close to me and when he pulled the engine out he noticed the exhaust was blue and melted due to it being plugged solidHe did take pictures of thisHe also noticed that one of the motor mounts was brokenIt was a very poor installation by the customers mechanicI called the customer and told her that the exhaust was plugged and that would cause the motor to fail and that it needed to be fixed before a motor could run properlyShe declined to fix it at this timeThe mechanic also found that one of the fuel injectors were badThis could also cause a motor to failShe also declined to replace the injector with a new one. With her declining to fix what was necessary on the vehicle to make the motor run properly, I told her that after I repaired this motor once again, there would be no warranty because a plugged exhaust and bad injector will most likely ruin another motorThe exhaust, intake, injectors, are not part of the motor purchased from me.Thank You, [redacted] Powerline Performance Machine

In response to complaint by customer, I will not warranty this motorAs stated before, customer was told that in order for the motor to run properly, she needed new injectors and the exhaust repaired as well as a new motor mount which was brokenPictures of these things were taken at the shop that I had her tow the car toShe stated that she did not want the shop to do these repairs so I told her that if these items were not fixed by the shop I use so that the motor would be installed properly and I could listen to the motor run, there would be no warranty. She picked up the car knowing the warranty was void.I can provide written statements from other engine builders, auto repair shops and dealerships stating that the items she refused to have repaired would ruin a motor.Powerline Machine went above and beyond the original warranty to try to help this customer out but she does have the responsibility on making sure all components on the car are in good working condition so that the motor runs properly. If the shop that installed the motor would have fixed these items when they installed it the first time, she would not be in this position.*** *** ***

Powerline is trying to put the blame for the two motors going bad on the mechanic that put them in my carPowerline said my mechanic didn't notice the exhaust was blue and the catalytic converter melted due to being plugged solid, I went to the Chrysler dealer here in my town to ask them if a plugged up catalytic converter could ruin a motorHe said for a catalytic converter to be that plugged to ruin a motor, the car would have not ran good, it would have been doggy and have no powerMy car ran good, it was the noise in the motor and using oilThat's why I took it to WI on a trailerIf the exhaust was so plugged to ruin a good motor, can Powerline explain to me how I got miles on first motor before the rods started knocking and 7,miles on the second motor with the same exhaust on the car I got six new fuel injectors for the car and when my mechanic put them in and started the car, it smoked real bad and the motor is still making noise, so I don't think Powerline put this motor together right and are trying to put the blame on my mechanics, and by the way, this work on the car was done by a different shop, so is Powerline trying to say that both my mechanics are at fault for their bad motor rebuilding? Powerline is just trying to get out of their warranty of defective materials and workmanshipwhich is for years, 24,miles the warranty is suppose to cover engine and labor the first year and engine only the second yearWell, on both my motors, I didn't have that many miles on, and I didn't have the motors in my car for a yearSo now I know why Powerline won't put a warranty on this last work on the motor, it's because of the poor workmanship of their company
