Galloway Roofing did an excellent job of removing the old roofing and installing a deck and new shingles. Communication with the owner and job foreman were great. The crew was friendly and polite. Mess was kept to a minimum. Work was done in a timely manner. The roof looks great

replacement project. The communicated promptly, answered all questions,
and gave bias-free advise. My renters spoke to the installers on site
and they were quite professional as well.
As far as I could tell there was no debris left behind whatsoever.
Manuel noted the code issues with the old roof and fixed all of those problems.
The installation was especially prompt.
I also appreciated the fact that they quoted and installed only high quality materials.

I asked Galloway Roofing to provide me with an estimate – one of three roofing companies I selected from Angie’s List. Manuel [redacted] came out on the date and time on which we agreed. He carefully inspected our roof, vents, eaves, attic crawl space, etc. , and described in detail what they would do. He answered all of my questions. Within a week I received a detailed estimate that described in clear and full detail what they would do. We set an approximate date for the work to commence and Manuel kept me closely informed until we could set a firm start date as soon as they completed a prior job. On that date Manuel and his crew came and began working. Despite 90+ degree temperatures and a steep 12/12 roof, the guys stripped off three layers of roofing, prepared the surface with ice shields, tar paper, roof vents, jacks, edge metal, etc. and nailed down the new roof shingles on the existing sheathing quickly and skillfully. The edges and valleys were neat and straight, and the flashing and counter flashing on the chimney was installed neatly. The crew cleaned up as they went along, protected the plantings, and cleaned up the entire work site at the end of every workday.

My wife and I were very pleased with the thoughtful and thorough estimate, the price, and the professionalism and skill of the roofing crew. We found all of the crew delightful to have working on our house. They answered our questions, explained what they were doing at various steps. The workmanship was outstanding, and when problems arose they were resolved skillfully and quickly. One short gutter was damaged while stripping the old roof and they had a roofing contractor out quickly to install a new gutter – at no charge to us. One point that we especially appreciated was the fact that the crew was large enough so that there were no delays and work progressed with great efficiency. We recommend Galloway Roofing without reservation.
