J&J Remodeling(Hemlock DrCrown Point) installed windows and siding for me in In I noticed the insulation was bulging between the panes of glass in the side casement of the kitchen garden window and called J&J ON 11/10/I was told the problem was not covered by the "LIFE TIME WARRANTY"It would cost $ and take four weeks, I said that was fine, I just wanted the window fixedOver the next months, I called over times, mostly to leave a message on the J&J recorderThree times I did talk to a Tom and was assured he was working on it and would call back--he never didThey did send a crew out in in July 2015, they said they had the wrong piece but would "take care of problem when they got back to the shop"- I never did hear from themI called J&J 01/14/to let them know I was done with them and that I would contact the Revdex.com about their business ethics and practicesI found a complete lack of satisfaction in trying to deal with J&J Remodeling of Crown Point IN

The guys at Galpin Ford made up for not contacting me back threefold. [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] really went far and beyond what I could have ever expected and my complaint has totally been resolved. I love my new vehicle and I am grateful to have worked with them.
They turned everything around and got me a rental car to take my new vehicle in and they were very patient and polite to me. Although I am a woman alone, they did not take advantage of that and treated me with the utmost respect and I got the vehicle I want to have. I am very pleased with the service I received from Galpin Ford in Prescott, AZ. I would highly recommend you get on down there and buy your next vehicle.

We visited 4 car dealerships including Galpin Ford on Sunday, September 27th to test drive new vehicles. We got quotes from all of the 4 car dealers. Galpin was our second stop. We test drove three cars there and stated to the salesman that we planned to buy a car in the next 7 to 10 days and that we were paying cash for the car. When we asked for a quote he insisted that we fill out a form that included my social security number. We asked why it was necessary since we just wanted a quote but he said it was required to get an accurate quote. He assured us that the information was shredded as soon as that knew that you were not buying a car there. After we finished test driving cars at all four dealers we realized that no other dealer required the personal information that Galpin Ford did. All of the dealers we visited with the exception of Galpin Ford contacted us within a day of our visit by both phone and email to follow up on their quotes. We let two dealerships know that we would not be buying their cars and we bought a car from the third company. Today (October 2nd) five days after test driving cars we stopped by Galpin Ford to express our dissatisfation with their sales practices and requested the form I had filled out with the personal information. We assumed they still had it as they had NO WAY of knowing if we were buying from them since they had not followed up with us. The two sales managers we spoke to at Galpin denied that they require personal information for quotes and blamed the salesman. We waited over half an hour while they "looked" for the form. They then told me that the salesman (who was supposedly busy with customers) told them he had schredded the form as he amazingly "knew" we would not be buying for them. I am also sending a complaint to the attorney general's office as I find these sales practices at best unethical. I firmly believe that they lied about the form being destroyed and I will now have to monitor all of my credit reports to make sure that the personal information I provided is not misused. The behavior at Galpin Ford was in stark contrast to the experience we had at the GM, Nissan and Cadillac dealers here in Prescott.

customer did not have time to preform a complete diag we looked at the vehicle breifly and on inital inspection found the passenger side seat weight sensor to be visibly broken we informed customer to start that this sensor should be replace and reset ocsm sensor and re-test. customer...

called few days later stating that he had had the sensor replaced somewhere else and would like us to reimburse him for the repair I informed him that we would not reimburse him for the cost of the sensor because it was visible broken and needed further diag and did however give him his money back for the diag because we try to do our best to take care of our customers if for any reason we felt responsible we would reimburse him his repairs.

Review: My wife and I were on our way to Prescott from Minnesota to attend a funeral, when an icon on the dash came on notifying me that the passenger airbag was off. For safety reason, when we arrived in Prescott on 10/23/15, I took the car to Galpin Ford to see what the issue was. They ran a diagnostic check and said it was a weight sensor. They did not have the part in stock and it would take several days to get. I could not wait, so I got the part number to have the part put in up here.We got home and I went to a Ford-Lincoln dealership to have the part installed in my 2009 Lincoln MKX. They did the work and it did not solve the problem. The cost for this was $514.62. I feel Galpin Ford misdiagnosed the problem and should reimburse me the money I spent. I spoke with the manager at Galpin, he wants to play this game that the part that was installed was defective or was not installed correctly. Who is to say, maybe Galpin's tech read his computer wrong or got one number off in the part number?Galpin Ford did put in new brakes in the front for me and I was told that my wheel bearings needed to be greased. When I mentioned this to the dealer in Minnesota, I was told they cannot do that as the bearings are sealed. This raises some doubt in my mind as to the professionalism of Galpin Ford. The manager readily refunded my $100.00 for the diagnostic charge which has me thinking, now why did he do this so easily? Is he trying to hide something they did wrong?Desired Settlement: They did the work and it did not solve the problem. The cost for this was $514.62. I feel Galpin Ford misdiagnosed the problem and should reimburse me the money I spent.Thank you for your assistance.

Just purchased my fusion from them and I have nothing bad to say. They worked with me and explained everything thoroughly. Super friendly staff I will definitely be purchasing another car from Galpin Ford in Prescott.

Review: My 2010 Ford Edge broke down outside of Prescott, I live in Phoenix, and had it towed to Galpin Ford. I was told the engine was bad and would be $8000 to repair. I could not drive the car back to Phoenix, so decided to buy another used car from them. It was not a good deal, they knew I did not have many options. I still owed about $2100 on my car. Anyway, they sold me another 2010 Ford Edge at above average kelly blue book price. I signed the contract on Saturday, Oct.24th and drove off the lot with another 2010 Ford Edge. The contract I signed showed my trade in as $5000, my payoff on my old car ($2181) and a net equity as $2818 used as a down payment. On Monday I received a call telling me the odometer reading was off on the car I just purchased and I would be fedexed a new form with the true mileage (first odometer form read 30,428 the revised form read 30,928). On Tuesday I received a voicemail from the sales man stating that I would need to get the car emission tested, since it was a Phoenix requirement. End of the month is not the best time to go through an emission test but I did. As of this morning, my original car loan has not been paid off (payment will be due on 11-18-15, and now I am showing the second car loan due on 11-23-15! In additon, I went to the Galpin Ford website and my original car is already listed on their site for sale (I am assuming I still own the car, since it has not been paid off). I don’t have any idea what to do at this point, but this situation does not appear to be straight forward or consumer friendly. Please let me know if you are able to offer advice on my predicament and at what cost. I don’t mean to sound mercenary, but I make an average income and at 60 years old, have to be concerned about expenses.

Required FieldDesired Settlement: First the payoff on my trade-in needs to be completed no later than Weds, Nov. 4th and a copy of the loan marked paid off faxed to me and mailed. Second I need my trade-in car to be taken off Ford Galpin website until the pay off amount has been issued to the bank. I want reimbursement for the emission test ($20), car rental ($101.98 ) and service department fee ($100) and a refund of $590 off the purchase price. I feel I was mislead about the condition of my car and forced to make a deal. I am a sales representative that depends on my car to do my job. If my car doesn't work I don't work.
