Galster Management does not properly manage its buildings. Tenants are left to be cold during the winter, pipes freeze and burst, and tenants are without heat and hot water often. Tenant complaints are never addressed, and landlords to not respond to tenants' emails and phone calls. Sometimes, there can be serious issues and still the landlord is silent. The management company does not adhere to legal standards unless they are faced with possibility of lawsuit - and even then they challenge tenants to sue. This includes proper cleaning of sidewalks to remove snow, trash removal, common area upkeep, heat, hot water, and other NYC legal standards.
