I did take this phone callWhen I asked him to hold, I was looking for my receipt book for my gift certificates The gift certificates are paper gift certificates and state as such as they are professional printedThey do not look like some junk piece of paper Second, I handled this
as professionally as is I could considering this person was argumentative and accusatory right from the start of our conversation I am not the one whom lost itThirdly, when I was going to look up in my receipt book the transaction he said he DID NOT have the receipt at that time so I couldn't look it up anyways We are all human and like to be treated as suchConsidering that we are not required to re issue a gift certificate, I would probably have been more inclined to have agreed to it on the phone if he would have at least had the receipt to give me more information and treated us with a little more respect not treat us like we stole his money purposely

When they brought it back the first time, we fixed the system for them at no charge.  When they brought it back the second time we exchanged it out for a system that was $30 MORE in price at NO EXTRA CHARGE and let them test it right there on the spot to verify that everything was good with it....

 I feel we went ABOVE AND BEYOND to satisfy the customer.
