Review: Gandhi travels collected US$ 4350 by check to book three round trip tickets for my family from San Francisco to Bangalore, India. However they have not issued valid tickets that can be used. They have now stopped responding to email and Phone calls.Desired Settlement: I would like Gandhi travels to refund my money

Review: [redacted], Gandhi Travel, posed as a travel agency. We contacted them via phone after we saw an ad in Khabar magazine. We booked our international travel tickets thru him. As per his request, we deposited $4380 in his Bank Of American account # [redacted] on 1/**/2013 for 4 tickets travel to India. On 2/*/2013, on checking British Airways website, we saw that the tickets were canceled. We tried to contact him by phone but were unable to contact him as it said it was disconnected. He was not reachable for a couple of days. On 2/*/2013, we were able to contact him and he apologized and informed that there was a goof up and the tickets were canceled by mistake and he would reissue the tickets. He then sent us new reservations and upon insisting he sent us a handwritten receipt for the money. On 7/*/2013, prior to our journey, we contacted British Airways and they informed us that the tickets were canceled as they were booked on a stolen credit card. We attempted to contact [redacted], but his phone line was not in service and he was not traceable. We had to rebook our travel by spending extra money. We lost the $4380 that we had paid to him. The British Airways agent at the counter in Atlanta airport indicated that there have been many people scammed in the same way by Gandhi Travel - [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund the money that we paid to [redacted] $4380

Review: We were recently scammed by Gandhi Travel Inc and agent named [redacted]. We bought in April three return tickets to go to India in December. We paid Gandhi Travel in full by a personal check which has been cashed. Even had confirmed with the British Airways that the tickets were paid and issued. Last week we found out that British Airways had cancelled our tickets because credit card used by [redacted] was suspicious. Gandhi Travel's phone is disconnected and he does not reply to our e-mail. Now, we do not have tickets and lost all our money to this person.Desired Settlement: We want this person to be caught and refund our money in full.

Review: I saw an advertisement In The India Abroad from a [redacted] working at rajtravel inc in New York for cheap business cl**s tickets to India.I booked a round trip ticket from him travelling from Chicago to Kochi,India leaving September ** and returning October [redacted].I sent him a personal check made out to Gandhi Travels and mailed it to the address shown on file.After c**hing my check he sent me details of my E-Ticket with ticket number and confirmation code on Etihad airways.I frequently checked on line on the Etihad website and w** able to see a confirmed travel itinerary.On the day of travel (september [redacted]) I w** able to get a complimentary limousine ride from my home to the airport from Etihad b**ed on my booking information that they had on file.On arriving at the ticket counter at the airport I w** told that the ticket had been suspended and that the only way I would be able to travel is if I gave them the credit card number that w** used to book the ticket.Apparently,[redacted] had used his credit card to book the ticket.I called him and he apologized and said that it w** a computer error and that he would correct the problem.I **ked him to send me the credit card information but he said that it would not work but to be patient and that he would reissue the ticket.I waited at the counter for over 4 hours with no result,I finally told him that I w** going to purch**e a new ticket and that he needed to refund my money.He said that it would be no problem.I bought a new ticket for double the price ** I had to travel on that date.When I returned on October [redacted],I called [redacted] about the refund and he **sured me that he w** going to mail me a check.I waited for 3 weeks and nothing w** done so I called him again on November [redacted] and he stated that he had mailed my check but since I had not received it ** yet he w** going to FEDEX it to me the next day (November [redacted]) and e-mail me the tracking number.I never received this information and on trying to reach him I find my calls going to a voice mail.I have not been able to reach this man since.As my check w** made out to Gandhi travels I am guessing that rajtravel inc is the same entity and he is using various company names and personal names to scam people.This man must be stopped from scamming more innocent people of their hard earned money. **Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid back the price of $7250 I had to pay for a fresh ticket ** the ticket he had issued w** fraudulent ,if this is not possible I would at le**t like to get back the original amount I paid him of $3500.I do not want a check ** he h** a tendency of putting a STOP PAYMENT on it after it h** been deposited.

Review: I brought a Air Tickets from - [redacted] - Gandhi Travels Inc. on Emirates Airlines for travel date on [redacted] July 2013, and one more ticket for travel date on [redacted] October 2013 and paid a total amount of $6060, the payment was made by depositing into his business account which is in Bank of America-Gandhi Travels Inc, A/c No: [redacted].Now the Problem is the Emirates Airlines is saying that this ticket issued was fraudulent and that I cannot travel with this tickets until I show the credit card used to pay for this tickets, now I am trying to reach out to Gandhi Travels - [redacted] through Email at [redacted] and Phone: ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### but did not get any response. So I request Revdex.com to please help me provide resolution to the above complaint.Thanks,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Please refund my amount which I paid for the Air Tickets.The total amount to be refunded is $6060
