Message was left from Brian Gelm regarding the complaint. He stated Steve was out of the office and he retrieved the message and the complaint was being looked into. A callback was placed and a message was left for him with my email address and that a response can be sent directly to me
I have reviewed the complaint submitted and the documentation on our end. Mr. [redacted] purchased this 2000 Honda Odyssey with 188,165 miles on it "As-Is." He was given the opportunity to test drive the vehicle and inspect the vehicle before purchasing. The purchase price on this...
vehicle was $850 plus tax, title, license and documentation fee. I have included a copy of the Buyer's Guide disclosure that specifically states in the heading, "Below is a list of some major defects that may occur in used motor vehicles." In the very bottom right is disclosing the "Exhaust System" as being a major possible defect. As far as "resetting" a light that is unequivocally false. No lights were reset to mask any known issue. We would be willing to allow this customer to use our employee pricing if he chooses to pay to have it fixed. Thank you,[redacted]

I was not offered an opportunity to test drive, nor was I offered the opportunity to have it I inspected by my own mechanic. When I went in the first time, the van was buried in the back lot behind about 4 cars. it was clear that nobody on staff wanted to be bothered moving the cars for a test drive on a beater van. I inquired about having it inspected and was told that they (the dealer) would complete an inspection and give me a copy of any repairs noted during the course of that inspection. this was offered as my only option. At this point, I will chalk it up to a bad decision and move on, thankful I'm not out very much money.

Closed complaint as resolved.Called consumer, advised him of the business' response sent to his email on 06/12/17.Consumer said he missed a call from the business but would call them so he could get his key.Consumer said this resolves his complaint

After reviewing with my Service Department, it would appear that this complaint was submitted prior to us coming up with a solution that would satisfy the customer. We discounted the price of 4 tires that she need as well as installing them for no charge to her. I was told by the service advisor...
that the customer left happy with our resolution.
This is a oil change we will give her a free one on the next one. I didn't look into this at all but we will giver her a free one next visit!
