We contracted Bud and Denise Gannon of Sundance Custom Homes, aka Gannon Custom Homes, to build a new home on our propertyThe contract commenced October 19th, It was supposed to be complete in a 180-day timeframeWe finally closed the construction loan on March 30, 2018, days after the start of contract During this time, our complaints ranged from zero oversight on the job, lack of accounting for draws on the part of the builder, shoddy work, much of it not completedNo workers would show up for weeks at a time, we were not consulted on various items, and a very sloppy work siteThis progressed to unpaid vendors calling us, the contractor going way over budget on various items and not supplying invoices, receipts, or reasons for the overages We had to obtain a day extension on the construction loan for the period of December 15-February During this time, the contractor and vendors disappeared for the holidays and vacation to MexicoWe were then pushed
