Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Again I’d like to point out the fact that we tested the print heads in two different working printers in our facilityNeither print head functioned at all in either of the printers we triedYet OEM heads work fineWe spent over an hour on the phone with your technical support technician who verified proper installation and setup over the phone(It’s not that difficult, it’s basically plug and play.) At the same time we notified the technician that both print head boxes were open and the static bag seals were cut open when we received themWe all found this to be a bit alarmingWhich bring me to the point that you stated these were used heads, we returned the print heads in the very same condition that we received them in as neither would function at all for us and there is no way we could have used themIs it possible that these heads were defective returns that somehow got mixed in with new stock?? As I mentioned to [redacted] & [redacted] , regardless of who pays the shipping, I can’t shut down an entire manufacturing line for several days so that Ganson can test one of my printersI’ve already incurred several hours of costly downtime trying to trouble shoot the used/defective print heads Ganson sent meThey know the printer isn’t the issue and the request to ship the entire printer just isn’t practical considering the amount of money I will lose in wages and overhead alone Regardless of how many print heads they sold or who they sold them to, it still doesn’t change the fact that I’m still out several hundred dollars and have nothing to show for itThey didn’t even return the defective print heads to me like I askedFailing to offer any type of refund, exchange or credit speaks volumes about Ganson Engineering and the values in which the company was built upon It’s a shame I have to go the Revdex.com route and make this a public affairI hope others will heed my warning and stay away from Ganson Engineering I hope all prospective consumers, please take a quick read through all the disclosures and store policies on Ganson Engineering’s website, it will paint a clear picture of who they will be dealing with Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Again I’d like to point out the fact
that we tested the print heads in two different working printers in our
facility. Neither print head functioned at all in either of the printers we
tried. Yet OEM heads work fine. We spent over an hour on the phone with your technical
support technician who verified proper installation and setup over the phone. (It’s
not that difficult, it’s basically plug and play.) At the same time we notified
the technician that both print head boxes were open and the static bag seals were
cut open when we received them. We all found this to be a bit alarming. Which
bring me to the point that you stated these were used heads, we returned the
print heads in the very same condition that we received them in as neither
would function at all for us and there is no way we could have used them. Is it
possible that these heads were defective returns that somehow got mixed in with
new stock??
As I mentioned to [redacted] &
[redacted], regardless of who pays the shipping, I can’t shut down an
entire manufacturing line for several days so that Ganson can test one of
my printers. I’ve already incurred several hours of costly downtime trying to
trouble shoot the used/defective print heads Ganson sent me. They
know the printer isn’t the issue and the request to ship the entire printer just isn’t practical
considering the amount of money I will lose in wages and overhead alone.
Regardless of how many print heads
they sold or who they sold them to, it still doesn’t change the fact that I’m
still out several hundred dollars and have nothing to show for it. They didn’t
even return the defective print heads to me like I asked. Failing to offer any
type of refund, exchange or credit speaks volumes about Ganson Engineering and
the values in which the company was built upon.
It’s a shame I have to go the Revdex.com
route and make this a public affair. I hope others will heed my warning and
stay away from Ganson Engineering.  I hope
all prospective consumers, please take a quick read through all the disclosures
and store policies on Ganson Engineering’s website, it will paint a clear
picture of who they will be dealing with.

[redacted] Sir:

I am unsure why you are having such challenges. The biggest user of this exact printhead is [redacted]. They have the exact same machine as you do. [redacted] is using 1,000 of these printheads every two months.

When our Manufacturer evaluated your two...

printheads, he suggested both were used. Both of the printheads were tested in their QC area and were found to be good.

We cannot sell a used printhead, so we could not take back used printheads.

Our offer to ship the printer was on our dime not yours. We have Factory Certified technicians that will test the printer and the printhead. If we can get the printhead to work, we can then assist you with the various settings.

If we cannot get the printhead to work, we can chat with our Manufacturer about the printheads being DOA.

In the last 5 years, we have sold approximately 200,000 of our manufacturer's printheads. To date, we have 4 failures.

I am not suggesting your two printheads are not DOA but we need to test. We are still willing to ship the printer to our location, at our expense, for testing.
