I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is partly satisfactory to me.  Gappsi also has to resolve the issue of any damage caused to the plumbing due to the acid that was poured into the pool.  I am willing to wait until April 2017 at which point I can determine whether  the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the...

business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Dear: [redacted] and [redacted]I have been in direct contact with [redacted], the manurfacturer of the wall stone making up my retaining wall. They advised me that the way you constructed my wall was done incorrectly. I was told by one of their representatives you should not of cemented the rows of wall stones together. Cementing the stones together created one solid ridged wall that is going to crack and fall apart every time the backfill behind the wall freezes. They advised me the way my wall should of been built was to use a construction adhesive on the top row of caps and the bottom row of stones only, every row of stone between the caps and bottom row should only be stacked on top of each other. My question to you is are you going to replace the entire retaining wall the way I just described it and when will you start the job.

Sincerely,
[redacted] And [redacted]

I believe the people at Cloud 9 have done their job in terms of resolving my issue. My initial complaint was the lack of communication, not the faulty hot tub. Since I sent in the complaint, the [redacted] of the company has taken care of the issue. I appreciate [redacted]'s attention to the issue.

yes the pool turned white but not because we did a bad job , its a normal accorance tha happens with gray marble dust and some times goes away and some times it has to be cleaned. I promised the clients that I will work on it the end of the season this way they could enjoy the pool for the season....

the fall came and as I promised I  was there, I have been in contact with the client all the time not sure what they real mean by them not bean able to get in touch with me.remulbledusting pools is a service we sub out to other contractors so I have been dealing and explaining the sub of the problem we were having about the white lime coming out of the walls. as far as buttom drains being covered and tile missing its some thing that I have just learned by reading this latter the client never mentioned to me about these, the white on the walls was the only issue and I have been at their house at list 3 times after the pool was finished. the client is saying he had buttom drains in the pool , the sub is saying he did not see anything. but I have no problem to keep the client happy as of this morning 8-**-2016 I went to the client house with the sub that applied the plaster in the pool the sub and I agreed to remarbledust the pool in april 2017 right before the new swimming season starts the client was on the phone with us and he suggested he would find the drain in the pool and expose  them ready for us next year.any questions please contact me at my cell ###-###-####Regards [redacted]Gappsi Inc

Review: I purchased a spa from this company at a home show. The spa was delivered in a timely fashion as promised. However, when my electrician went to hook it up on October [redacted], we were receiving error codes. I contacted the hot tub sales representative and he told me he would send someone to look at it. People from [redacted] came to look at it later in the week. They told me they were unable to identify the problem and needed to call in their service company. The service company came the following week, but did not leave any information. After several unreturned phone calls to [redacted], I drove to their location to find out what the issue was. They then informed me it was a manufacturer's defect and they were taking videos and photos to the manufacturer to get new parts. On October [redacted], they informed me that the manufacturer was shipping new parts to address the issue.

A week later, I called the [redacted] hot tub sales representative again to see if the parts had arrived. He told me he had not heard anything and to contact his [redacted] to see if they arrived. I called his [redacted] who informed me she did not know any information about the shipment. I asked if she could get a tracking number so I would know when the parts would arrive. She said she would look into it.

I called frequently over the course of the next week and did not receive a return phone call.

I am submitting this complaint because I feel that I have a right to be informed of the progress of my repair.Desired Settlement: Information about the shipment of the parts, a scheduled appointment to fix the spa, and a working spa.

Or

Removal of my spa and a full refund including the cost of the electrician to disconnect the hot tub.

The customer [redacted], purchased said hot tub from us at the [redacted] in late September. The hot tub was delivered at the agreed date by our company & on the time of electrical hook up errors were noted by the electrician. Both our company & an outside hot tub repair company came to take a look at the tub to try & fix the issues. It was then noted by the hot tub repair company that the tub was produced defective but could be fixed with the necessary parts. The hot tub manufacturer ([redacted]) was then contacted by us & notified about the defective tub. They told us that they would send out the necessary parts to resolve the issues. We waited weeks for these parts to come in from the manufacturer, of course the repairs couldn’t be completed without them. Multiple calls were put into the manufacturer to find out where these parts were, we were told they were mailed multiple times & that there was not a tracking number that could be sent to us. Once the parts came in we notified the hot tub repair company & they put the customer on their repair schedule (Thursday November [redacted]). This is also a busy part of the season for hot tubs, winterizations are being done so this was the soonest date the hot tub repair company could make it out for the repair. At this date we are sure all problems with the tub will be fixed. We are sorry for all the trouble the customer is having with the tub, but said issues are with 2 outside companies trying to fix his hot tub issues, we have done all we could to try & get these issues addressed & fixed as fast as we possibly could.

Review: We have a written contract stating the project will be guaranteed for 3 years against settling of paving stones, shifting of borders and movement of steps and walls. Our problem is a stone retaining wall that moves which causes the stones making up the wall to break in half. This problem exists because [redacted]'s workers neglected to build adaquit drainage for water. Water builds up behind the wall, freezes causing the wall to move and crack the stones making up the wall. We had contacted [redacted] and they refused to fix the problem. The final payment for the masonry work was 6/**/12 in the amount of 17,000.00Desired Settlement: Retaining wall has to be redone the proper way. All the broken stones need to be replaced, the dry pack under pavers needs to come out, a layer of gravel needs to extend below the bottom of the footing, a good draining filler should be used on top of the gravel, one inch of sand should go on top of filler and then the pavers can be set in place. If my retaining wall was made as described we would not have the problem we have now!

DO NOT use GAPPSI!!! Most unprofessional people I have EVER had the misfortune of having to deal with!!! They don't return calls or send proposals when they say they will, totally unprepared for scheduled meetings, and generally very unpleasant to work with!!! I personally loved the owners' attempts to try & force me to do all pavers on my driveway when all I want is to have them around the edges! Oh and I must mention that he said it would cost the same whether I did the entire thing in pavers or blacktop w/pavers around the edges...seriously???

Review: I had work done at my residence , to say that it is unsatisfactory is an understatement. I made several attempts over the past year to have to issues rectified, SCCA inspected the work and advised that it be re-done. After it has been re-done it is actually worse. I have made several attempts to settle with the company to no avail. SCCA has also ruled the work unsatisfactory . They were also not licensed when the repairs and installations were performed and never applied for the proper permits.Desired Settlement: Full refund of monies paid on a job that has to be totally re-done. Performed by unlicensed. Contractors.
