Garage - A Body Shop for Kids

My son got a [redacted] jumpsuit for his first birthday on October 29th. He wore it once and I noticed the fabric around some of the grommets was tearing. The present was from his uncle who lives in Scottsdale. I called Garage Boutique in the beginning of November and explained the problem and that I would be bringing it back. I specifically asked what their return policy was and made it clear I live in Tucson and therefore was unable to return item within the 30 day limit. My mother was planning on going up to Phoenix in the beginning of December. I explained that my mother would be bringing the jumpsuit in for me. On December 7th my mother ([redacted]) brought the jumpsuit to the store. The owner said the fabric tearing away from the grommets wasn't a quality issue and couldn't be exchanged. She said the manufacturer wouldnt accept it as a defect. She also said that it was past the 30 day return policy so she couldn't do anything. The one thing the owner said she would do is bring it to a seamstress to put a larger grommet on. She said it would be quick and she would mail it to me the next week. She asked me to go to her Facebook page and email her my information which I immediately did. I emailed her my name, email, address, and phone number. I waited and waited but never received the jumpsuit, a phone call, or email from the store. I called the store on January 6th. The sales associate said she would find out what was going on and call me back. I didn't receive a call back so I called again on January 8th. The sales associate said the owner was out of the country. She said she would try to contact the owner to find out what she could do. She said she would give me a call back. Again, I didn't receive a call back so I called on January 9th. The sales associate said the jumpsuit had been sent to the manufacturer to be fixed and they had not gotten it back yet. I asked the sales associate to keep me updated of the status. It has been two months since the jumpsuit was returned to the store. I've never received any communication from them. Every time I called that store I left my name and number just in case they lost it. Each time I called, the sales associate said it's out of her hands and she has to talk to the owner. If I ever get it back it won't fit my son anymore.
