Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Garage Doctors did call last week and confirm an appointment between the hours of 3:00-4:PM today (June 2016) to replace my current garage door opener with the correct 3/HP opener which was originally purchased It is now after 4:PM on June 2016, and I have called both the general Garage Doctors office number [redacted] and an alternate number [redacted] with no response from Garage Doctors as of this time (Left messages on voicemail at both numbers.)Note: I just received a call from Owner from [redacted] at 4:PM, indicating that the opener replacement would have to be scheduled for later tonight (i.eafter 6:pm or so He could not confirm an actual installation time for this evening), or I could reschedule for tomorrow at 2:PM when the Owner would do the work I have limited confidence regarding the accuracy of this actual installation timing until the correct replacement opener has actually been installed Therefore, I would like to keep this complaint open until such time as the work is actually completed by Garage Doctors Regards, [redacted]

We have already spoken with the customer about this issue and have him scheduled for this coming Tuesday june 14th to install the 3/4hp modelThis mistake was not intentional and we have worked quickly to inform liftmaster and have them send the correct model

Customer said he was satisfied with this latest replacement and the unit has been working properly. We would like to move this complaint to resolved as the customer has indicated they are satisfied.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  
I remain concerned that the business owner took responsibility only after I filed the Revdex.com complaint and called the manufacturer of the garage door opener regarding the vendor (business owner) installation of the incorrect (less expensive) garage door opener.  I do not accept that this was an honest mistake by the business owner because when questioned during the replacement process, I was told by the business owner that the garage door opener looked different because it was a "new model".  It remains my belief that the business owner simply believed that I "would never know", and only when forced to take action due to my complaint did I receive any call back from the business owner or any offer to install the correct garage door operator.
