When we were called back on 08/18/16 it was clear that the damage was done from two factors 1: The opener down force control was set on max 2: The garbage cans are sitting against the track, that leads me to believe that when the door was coming down it hit the garbage can and with the force set on max it damaged the top section. I offered a replacement section to the customer that she will have to buy, but she did not want it. The warranty for this Garage Door expired in July 2016. She does not need a new door she just needs a new top section replaced, which I am willing to do.

I am rejecting this response because:This gentleman spent 30 minutes giving me excuses why he thinks this happened. At first he said that it was my door opener that caused the problem and since he didn't install the opener it wasn't part of the warranty. Then, he told me that he could fix the opener for me and give me a 90 day warranty on it , I refused. It wasn't until he was leaving and I made it clear I was not willing to pay him anymore money that he came up with that the door hit the garbage pail. I am not willing to pay this company anymore more money because I was defrauded. He said this was one of the best doors that I could buy and I believed him and bought it from him. This is the second time time this door has been broken. This business just want me to spend more money and finds any excuse not to deal with its shoddy jobs. I think you should keep an eye on this business because I am sure I am not the only one it has defrauded.
