Attached is the customer's invoice, please see the notes documenting that we agreed to offer a month labor warranty to the customerThe customer has since called back demanding that we give him a lifetime warranty on labor, this is not something that was ever discussed, offered, or agreed to by any representative of our company because it simply is not possibleWe warranty and guarantee the parts but a cost does apply for the labor to be completed by our certified technician should a warranty concern occurThere is a standard $service call outside of the labor warranty of months in this case, and the labor to replace both springs if necessary would not exceed $in a worst case scenarioThis is all agreed to and detailed on the contract signed by the customerWith this said, we will always make an exception to take care of our customer's should an issue occur that is due to improper installationWith the reimbursement and agreement to extend a special month service warranty to the customer we have gone above and beyond to do everything in our power to completely satisfy the customer

We would like to apologize for the delay in the refund check being issued due to a clerical mistakeThe refund check was issued to the consumer on 5/13/We reached out to the consumer on 6/6/and verified that he did finally receive the $reimbursementThank you

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company contacted me and asked if they could pick up the opener (motor) along with the remote and sensor left over AFTER I had to install my own doorThey did picked it up and removed that amount from my balanceThe amount they "offered" to reduce is based on the opener which I gave back to them so it wasn't really an amount they took off, they had to because I gave back the opener (motor) By the way they scheduled a Friday 7pm pickup for the motor and guess what happenedThey came by Thursday unannouncedWhat a jokeNot only do they say they are in Colorado the office they have is not an office at allThey have number in San Diego listed on one website and another in TexasShady Not even based in Denver as a company. They say my balance is $816.92??? Here is what I have proposed as a resolutionI make $per hour and I work days a week I work from 7am - 7pm so anytime they said they needed to come by I had to take offMonday they scheduled 5pm inspection before door install was done5-7pm = hours / Friday they scheduled 3pm install time, tech didn't come till 7:30pm, didn't leave till 11:30pm but let’s just talk about money lost 3-7pm = hours (and garage still wasn't fixed / Tech came back Saturday at 2pm and guess what, still not fixed 2-7pm = hours / Rescheduled for Sunday fix at 3pm, I called their dispatch at 3:30pm and GUESS WHATI wasn't on the schedule 3-7pm = hoursI was no longer going to allow them to hold me hostage so I went and bought a garage door on Sunday and installed it MYSELFCost of new opener (motor) = $Now let’s add up all the lost wages and money spent by me because of the incompetence of this companyhours of work lost $per hour = $dollars and $garage door motor = $ Wow they owe me money! This amount does not include my frustration, the labor to take their crap down and installing my own motor and rail, etcI have advised this company to clear my balance and IF they need to talk to someone I offered my attorneys name and numberWe will be HAPPY to take this to court if they bring it on! I was kind enough to allow my credit card company let them keep the $deposit and gave them their crap motor backI am doneIf they pursue legal action we will counter for way more money Her is a safe link to download video of how they left my garage with commentary (select the option todownload using your browser): https://mega.nz/#!MockGShC!XTk0J3PK-GgSAf_u74EiDvlav7W2gNDrK7tsJAOchjE Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that they did return to my home and performed the warranty repairs to garage door after several days of numerous telephone callsI still would like the public to know that this is not a business that performs as they advertise and would stay clear of this businessI consider this complaint resolvedThe Revdex.com's attention to this matter is greatly appreciated Regards, [redacted]

Response: We apologize for the apparent miscommunication about the pricing with our technicianWe do strive to provide the best parts and service in the industry, have standard retail pricing, and make all costs and repair options completely clear and make an agreement before starting any repairsFor customer satisfaction, we were able to reach out to the customer and agree to a refund of $on 4/27/which has been credited back to his card End Response

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below A subsequent complaint is based upon their practices to charge exorbitant labor rates for repairs They provided a lifetime warranty on the garage door springs, but only a day warranty on the labor To replace the springs (if and when they fail) it will cost $to replace them based upon their labor rates I told them this is unacceptable I want a lifetime warranty on the labor, too Furthermore, there was absolutely NO OFFER to extend the labor warranty in any way That is an outright lie I did receive a call about the labor warranty, but the clerk was very insistent that days labor warranty was the norm and there was absolutely nothing to be done about it Regards, [redacted] ***

Very simply the client spoke to the client service about sending a technician to come back and he demanded that day. We explained that we cannot set that day but we will be happy to accommodate the next day or anytime after and the client refused. I called today on both numbers we have for the... client so that we can again schedule something and accommodate this client. The first number has a continuous busy signal and the 2nd# has a voice mail that is full. I also emailed so we can settle the matter. Thank you

We stand behind our repairs and made every offer to have a technician come out on a warranty visit to address any installation concerns, but the customer declined and was just looking for a reimbursementOne of our customer service representatives was able to speak to the customer on 8/24/and agreed to issue the refund of $as requested for the customer's complete satisfactionThis refund was issued to the customer's credit card Further we also reached out to the customer and agreed to a special extended month labor warranty

Case ID [redacted] ***We apologize for the scheduling difficulties and lack of communication and value this feedback to allow us to address the issue internally. The installation was completed on 7/19/16 and we have not been notified of any issues. We did reach out to the customer on 8/5/16... to discuss the complaint and see if there was anything we could offer as an accommodation in resolution of the complaint. The customer informed us she was at work and would call back. We have not heard back since, despite calling and leaving messages for a call back. If there is anything further we can do, we request that the consumer contact us directly.Thank you

When the customer called to set the appointment he was advised that there would be a $service call fee to cover the cost of the technician's visit and safety inspection and diagnosticSince the repairs were declined this cost would apply to the visit, however in the interest of customer satisfaction due to the concern presented we will be glad to refund the charge to the customer's credit card Although the safety eyes may have been the immediate issue, our technician determined that the door was not balanced and that new springs were neededWe strive to employ the best technician's in the industry, and the matter of a misdiagnosis is something we will take high priority in addressing with our technicianI would appreciate a call back from the customer to see if the other company did inspect the springs and find no issues so this matter can be addressed
