Worst experience ever! This company has NO integrity, morals, or ethics. I called three garage door company's asking for pricing to replace two springs on a insulated double door. Each company gave me the same response which was $275 to $325. Garage Doors of NE was the only one who could come out the same day. To my surprise when Dan showed up the price doubled. I told him what Megan quoted me over the phone. He said we will call her to discuss. My first mistake was letting him complete the work before calling Megan. Dan called her after he installed two springs. She then called me and said this is a misunderstanding and said the price is what it is. I said no, go back and listing to the recording and you will hear what you quoted me for replacing two springs. She said I will listen and have a supervisor call me. No supervisor ever called me and Megan even admitted when she called me back that on our call it does say to replace two springs. Even though she admitted that our conversation was for replacing two springs she would not lower the price to what she quoted. A business that has even a little bit of integrity would have honored or at least come down to a reasonable price but not Garage Doors of Nebraska. Save yourself the headache of what I am now dealing with, DON"T call Garage Doors of Nebraska unless you want to deal with a company with no integrity, morals, and ethics.
Garage doors came to repair a garage door for us, instead they left the job unfinished and a safety concern for our employees and customers. !
We had two employees who came by to try and repair our door, they replaced the springs with new ones. unfortunately, these springs have so much torsion on them that it wants to come down when pulling it up, and it wants to come back up when pulling it down. I had to tell them to come back a couple of times to take a look at it, every time the torsion got worst. The doors operated just fine before they replaced the older springs. It is now a safety concern for our emlployees who work in the back. Owner/supervisor Adam *** would not come out to inspect the job of his employees and we had to get someone else to come in just to adjust the tension on the springs! terrible customer service, lack of training, and owner doesn't back up their warranty.
We would like a partial refund for an unfinished job. *** repaired it for under ***. We would like a refund of $*** for job left unfinished.
we come for a spring replacement. because one of the spring was broke.
after finishing the job, the door wont stay up because *** jay increase the height of the tracks to be able to install a car lift on his shop.
when the whole door not above the garage, the door wont stay up.
we offered *** jay to install an opener or switch to old tracks.
unfortunately *** jay trying to pressure us to make additional repair with no willing to pay.
jay call us and say *** offer to replace to the right springs for $***
after they did the job, the came back to *** Jay and told him they wrong and the springs was in the right size but they couldn't fix it.
*** jay keep blackmail us to make a repair and not willing to pay.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company is ***, their response to this case is invalid. There were no such things said, the garage door they worked on was not worked on by anyone else prior to the spring breaking.
And the claim of the extension arm to the garage door is also invalid. The building and doors were working just fine prior to the spring breaking. We just needed them to replace the spring and calibrate what they installed so the doors would work. All we would like is for an actual supervisor or the owner to come check their employees work. Leaving an unfinished job is a huge safety concern for our employees, and a bigger one if anything were to happened to anyone in our facility. They're only working for profit their own profit, And not for after of their customers.
