This message serves as formal documentation that Ms***'s account is paid in full and we release the right to any claim or balance due for services performed on 9/23/2016. We do not have any record whatsoever of a check being received by our office, I could not even locate the check

Attached is the invoice showing a $0 balance and the refund receipt for the credit issued on 8/10/2017. It usually takes the bank or credit institution 2-5 business days to process the funds back into the customer's account.

I am rejecting this response because: We did not ever lock the garage door and I watched the door crumple as it was coming down.  We are insulted that they would say that we locked the door when it has never been locked in 15 years living there.  The vendor was rude.  I will not do business with them ever again.

Per our technician's professional assessment there were no installation issues that could have caused the problem, however he was not on site when the damage occurred and can only provide his best assessment on the cause based on what is seen. the slide lock engages, as well as a photo of the top panel where you can see it is crumpled inward as if the door was obstructed during opening. Further, the door functioned without issue for over five months. Had there been an installation issue a problem would have occurred shortly after the installation. Regardless of how the damage occurred, the client signed the contract in agreement with the warranty terms which state that the garage door itself is covered with a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. We waived the standard $89 warranty service call fee to assess the damage and ensure it was not caused by our installation.  In resolution our client service department offered to replace the panels at our cost for client satisfaction, which the customer ultimately declined. We feel this is a fair and good faith effort to resolve the complaint.

We apologize for any and all inconvenience that the customer endured due to the service issues. We strive to provide the highest quality repairs and customer service in the industry and are disappointed that our standards were not met in this instance. We were able to speak with the customer on...

8/10/2017 and agreed to a full refund due to the issues with the repairs and concerns mentioned. Thank you for bringing this invaluable feedback to our attention, as a company we are always looking to improve in any way possible and ensure that a similar experience does not occur to another customer. This matter will be directly addressed with the technician and office staff involved and used to improve our overall training policies and procedures.

Two warranty visits have been completed at no charge to fully resolve any issue related the work, the customer is currently following up with the manufacturer of their door opener in regard to a warranty on parts and will contact us if any further assistance is required.
